Amazing. Looks about 10 times as good as Halo . Some of the best in game animtions i've ever seen. seems to accurately depict a warlike situation with many things going on at once. Not as good as the E305 traielr but not far off

The new trailerdoes not come close to the E3 2005 E3 trailer.

I'd say it looks about 50% as good. It's too Early to say weather I'm impressed by all the things going on on the screen at the same time mostly because i have no ideahow much if any of it is scripted. The original Kilzone was scripted city.

So I'm not impressed by the new trailer. But it's just a trailer, not the finished game.

The finished game could still be good.

Wow , 2/3s of the first page were locked KZ2 threads.

Anyway I really hope they get thi game right this time. I LOVE the art style but they need to get some textures and get a decent framerate

Every gaming website which have reported on the trailer says it was impressive, kotaku even going as far as saying that it's the most impressive E3 game so far. That's not being blind, that's telling the truth.

Sony deserved everything it got at E3 05. They said the CGI movie was in-game footage, which was a flat-out lie, since it was pre-rendered. They could've said "expect the final game to look like this in-game", if that was the goal, and they wouldn't have gotten the criticism they did. It's because they literally said that the video was in-game footage, and it wasn't.

So now you know the E3 05 was CGI, why are you still trying to hold Killzone 2 to that standard? This makes no sense to me...

Easily the best looking game on consoles to date and its only in PRE ALPHA. The final product on the other hand will have textures that rival the best of crysis' imo. No other game has looked so good in pre alpha ( halo 3 ) so just imagine the final product once its been tweaked

:roll: i was talking to one of the guys from guerilla yesterday on the playstation.com killzone mess hall forum and he said himself it was pre alpha. Halo3 was in alpha a few months ago and its releasing when? september? and all devs are different, alpha to one dev is usually differnt to what another dev considers alpha

My two cents: It looks good. Scratch that... it looks GREAT!

However, after two years of graphically impressive games, KZ2 isn't as mindblowing as it seemed at E3 2005. Also, I refuse to put any stock in this game whatsoever until it gets reviewed and released. Killzone PS2 still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

And I'm sure WWII was a time where people dressed up as power rangers.rocklegacy2

there were good things: great art direction, best character animation yet

there wer ebad things: blocky shadows, low quality textures.

ugly, no. that's why all the sites say it looked good. why make yourself look like a fanboy. try, just try to be honest and keep it real.

waiting for the sony conference to see more KZ 2 trailer if they release more. also i want to see KZ2 in multiplayer :P havn't seen any.

but so far KZ2 OWNZ E3 :)

I am very impressed. I believe this is what Killzone was meant to be the entire time. Gurillia made it on the right path just with a couple of detours, Bungie had been on it from the start. I belive Killzone 2 will be an amazing game the detail on the charcters looks impressive. The screenshots look great but you have to see it in motion.

No. I'm just saying that Killzone was heavily inspired by WWI and WWII. One only has to look at the Helghast to see that they resemble the Nazis. Heck, look at the Helghan flag.

I'm not much of a shooter fan but it still look pretty fun and nice. Kind of hard to tell how it really going to look until we can DL it from PSN!

My two cents: It looks good. Scratch that... it looks GREAT!

After the shooters we have alreaedy seen and the (obvious) downgrade from then E305 trailer it just isn't as impressive. but it is still pretty much above and beyond any FPS seen so far in motion. It was also more exciting than the entire Microsoft press conference put together. I am so glad i didnt buy a 360

i really want to believe that single player for halo 3 was going to at least look amazing (10x better then multi) but i was wrong. compeletly wrong.

Killzone Just owned every FPS out there in graphics. even on pc, because so far crysis is only graphics nothing close to the scope and lighting of killzone (killzone taking place in a dark atmosphere has the best lighting to date)

I found it pretty poor, but i suppose there's not much else to choose from with isometric handheld shooters (damn devs). The original on the PS2 was also pretty poor, but this looks amazing. I'm honestly more excited by this game then the generic bland nonsense of Halo (but teh aliens!!!!). When's it coming out

My thoughts...Easily looking like one of the best visual games of the year. Its up there with COD4 definitly. Even though I admit it does look a bit odd. It looks very nice. Blows Halo away...Problem was Killzone 1 was the same. Looked good...bad everything else

THE difference is animation is one of the best things in this game and it doesnt seem like this one will be as glitchy
