[QUOTE="savagetwinkie"] ughh theirs about the same difference between halflife 1 & 2, thats what fps's do, they have always done this, and you forget things like forge... 4 player online co-op... those werent in halo 2AdmiralBison
FFS, mate....Forge and co-op isn't gameplay mechanics..isn't new addition to gameplay. UNDERSTAND? hate when people say that. They're just new modes/features.and so...Even if Halo hasn't really added anything new to core gameplay it's still works on awinning game mechanic there is nothing wrong with that.
Killzone 2 was lucky because it didn't have much to work for after the disaster that was Killzone!
Halo as a whole is what makes it so great.
An excellent and easy to get into gameplay.
A good enough story line that can expand into other media's - novels, movies, machinima(Which Halo was one of the very first games to inspire the whole craze)
An excellent multi player-Really! Halo has been around for how long now?. I still play it from time to time and is a multiplay staple on Live and MLG with added support of DLC and an expansion coming up
What's so special about KZ2? what just pretty graphics and few motion controls here and there?
How's the co-op in that game?
It's a feature that has been around for a while now- that's even worse when you take out the standard feature
How non-linear are the levels?
How are the abundant vehicles in the game like and how it controls?
How about it's "Memorable" story line?
"Memorable" Characters?
It's Killzone in HD!
actually that's harsh because Killzone was a failure.
Cow's give it up!
even a lot of Cows don't even support that game. telling by it's sales.
when Modern Warefare 2 comes out. KZ2 will be forgotten!
Unlike a classic that is Halo and is still played in record number een with Call of Duty, Gears of War, Left 4 dead, GTA4, Fall out 3 and other great games that have arrived on the Xbox360
The only real significane KZ2 has is that it is mentioned here in Systemwars and someone who plays it- which from the sounds of it not that many.
Why don'y you try to play KZ2 to see why it's so good (especially the fun multiplayer). The game doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it's a damn great experience that's EASILY up there with Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. The game got great reviews too, check metacritic (scores are about 2-3 points below halo 3 and call of duty 4, which is impressive since they both came out before KZ2, so it's scored harder). It's popularity hasn't caught on though and I hope that changes because people this is a game that I feel PS3 owners should not miss out on.
