killzone 2 gameplay looks better than gears 2

i have been watching some killzone 2 gameplay videos this game looks so amazing i dont mean gears 2 doesnt look good i just think killzone its going to be better

here is a good pick that shows two people in the same position to get a good feel of graphics. While I do think KZ2 does look good it is clear Gears 2 looks better.

your joking right?! Killzone 2 clearly looks better. that Gears shot is a terrible shot, it looks muddy.. there are LOTS of better Gears shots out there.. That Killzone 2 pic is almost photo realistic.. amazing

It looks as if someone took some of the worst filters possible and applied them to the GeoW2 shot and blurred the crap out of it and called it "realistic"......:lol:

You see they put alot o work into making people react propperly to shots sooo for ever little point that can be shot they have a diffrent reaction; making it seem like you actually shooting some poor guy, who dies rather painfully

Well, I had a lot more fun with Max payne. But if you're talking TPS in general than I definitely like the MGS series ALOT more than gears.

And killzones doesn't do anything new, it's just trying to make what's already there alot better. Just like what gears 2 is trying to do.

Gears of War 2's gameplay looks like its at least unique in some ways. Killzone 2 is the epitome of PS3 gaming: incredible style and graphics, but gameplay looks like a watered down CoD4 clone. The thing where they react realistically to being shot is a gimmick, it would add to the overall atmosphere of an already great game, but it can't stand alone.

It's possible to be a fan of all the consoles and still look forward to KZ2, lol.

The reason why it might seem like it has no "substance" is because they haven't revealed much at all so far. But just from looking at the gameplay video's incredible art style and amazing use of lighting I can tell that it definitely does have substance.

I can see where you're coming from, though. They said online is a huge portion of the game.. but have yet to reveal any info on it. Maybe during E3. :)

GTA IV already does an excellent job if you ask me. It's not an FPS but still, the mechanics are there and done quite well.

Well, art is personal preference. And I really like it. The atmosphere the game gives off is really great. Of course, not everyone might feel the same.

Killzone 2 looks alot better graphic wise. As for gameplay we can only wait and see. Gears 2 looks exactly the same as Gears 1,where Killzone 2 looks to improve alot,but then again it could be crappy anyway.

They said the same thing I've been saying for a year, which is that Killzone 2 isn't really doing anything that we haven't seen from the likes of CoD4.

Similarly, its aim system feels very similar to COD's square view down the sights, and encourages the same careful stop-start aim-and-move approach to encounters. Gears of War 2 looks better in gameplay and graphics. Killzone 2 has blurred textures and everything's veru dark/black. Are we going to play in Hell or something? I'm going with GeOW2 because I know this will be good, but for Killzone 2, I can't hype it like I did for Killzone.
