Fall of Man was a far more interesting and fun FPS. Sure, it didn't look as good as KZ2, but that just shows how far graphics can take ya. AAA? Fall of Man deserved that more.

FoM is probably is one of my favourite FPS's this gen, definately worthy of an AAA score. Shame the second one sucked though.

I also agree that KZ2 scores may have been inflated a bit purely based on how good it looks. I also think this happened with Crysis aswell.

what annoys me are the controls and character movement not that it doesn't fit in some arcade-y stereotype. Ive never been good a run and gunning. Always get killed so i found kz2s cover system interesting. But that doesnt help the story or character movement

What you put was incorrect, so it summed up nothing. Vetka is a planet. It's not a place on Earth. At no point in the history of the PS3 game franchise do Helgan forces ever set foot on Earth.

the chapters ive played weren't interesting. im not going to keep playing and hope near the end something might happen that's interesting. I prefer that games eighter have good controls/objectives or are just fun or have a good story.

I think I enjoyed Killzone 2 a little bit more than Halo 3. I didn't find either game amazing.

Kz2 is a boring repetitive fps that jumped out of the generic save the world shooter category. Why do ppl keep saying this game is sooooo amazing. All it really has going for it is graphics. The awkward controls and character movement make the game feel frustrating if you pick it up after playing resistance 1,2 cod 4, waw , battlefield ect, ect or any other fps. Why do ps3 fanboys keep saying this game is the best fps on the market. Resistance 2, 1, cod 4 are far better with far better stories. Heck Halo3s opening cg cut has better story then all of kz2

I have no doubt in my mind that halo 3 is the better game between these too (and ive only seen my friend play online for 10 mins and the first 2 cut-scenes, and the gs vid review). Also please note i only have a ps3 and dont own a 360

I just love how oblivious some people are.

I've played a lot of competitive games competitively (ie: tournaments) and Halo at high levels is as complex as most of the other ones, if not more.

Counter Strike is based on individual skill from my experiences (I use this as an example because everyone seems to think CS is the pinnacle of competitive FPS, when it reality it's not as Quake 3 and UT04 require much more skill), very little teamwork is needed because at the high level of competition, everyone has the potential to get a headshot on the first kill.
