There are no aliasing problems in killzone 2, and uncharted 2. I don't want to fight with you because I'm tired but, you are completely disregarding the techinical achievement of this game.

Thoughs are ugly shots get some shots with the atmosphe and alot of lighting effects, it is the arts t y l e that makes this game look good.

There are aliasing problems with EVERY game on the 360 and PS3. Every single one. you know why? AA costs lots of memory and power and it is not worth the huge FPS hit with their low ammount of VRAM (both). The PS3 is not even capable of 4X AA due to GPU resturiction hence that joke called Quincunx AA which is basically a blur filter and is used in KZ2.

But RE5 has 4xAA on the 360, I think that is enough for a lack of jagges also, GT5 has 4x AA.

Yeah, that's why I think RE5 has framerate problems on the 360 version I think. And this link proves it:

those are just multiplayer shots

Multiplayer shot have the same graphics as the SP in Killzone, the only game that does that infact.

Other then Gears and Uncharted, none of those have been released. Uncharted is the grapihcal king imo. In Gamespots review it sounded like they were reviewing a game worthy of a 9.5.

none of those games are the graphics kings.but ill bet every single one of those games plays better(i know far cry 2 and gears 2 do.)the only one im skepitical about is alan wake.which i hope it doesnt control like RE5(i dont think it will tho).but that game will far surpass it in atmosphere in story.which is what its trying to accomplish.

Multiplayer shot have the same graphics as the SP in Killzone, the only game that does that infact.

The graphics are not the same. GG did a pretty good job at keeping the fidelity high though. Better than most console games where you can clearly see the difference. ND IMO didn't do nearly as good as job with Uncharted 2's MP modes with less players and smaller maps.

Must be some programming issues, I don't remember bad framerates on 360 though, I made a mistake, Capcom didn't do to well with the PS3 version, which looked worse BTW. And nhh18, I don't understand that either.

This is the reason STALKER; Shadow of Chernobyl has no AA. It CAN'T. Just like KZ2. "Kz2 has 4x AA" :lol:

However, it was PS3 only, and killzone 2 essentially has no foilage - the world is desolate & urban. They certainly aren't rendering jungles." They also used the buffer system and blurto simulate 4xMSAA. Now that I'm tired of this argument and you are now the biggest jerk and I actually reported you for actually messaging me.

Usually when you insult someone you don't snitch that person 2 seconds after because that's gonna backfire, trust me. I can just report you now for trolling, ya know ;) Second, repeating the same insult over and over again makes you look childish, especially after you snitch. Killzone 2 actually looks better than those screens. Only insomniac games has true bullshots. There games aren't close to the quality uncharted 2, or killzone 2 are.

I'm not sure what a bullshot is yet.

look at those sexy pseudo 3d graphics in GoW2 ... walk right up to those 3D looking textures and bask in the glory that is specular bump mapping. Only reason it doesnt show as bad as UT3 is because your viewing the game from a pulled back 3rd person perspective.

Have you played Far Cry 2 on consoles? It looks nothing like that.
IGN PS3 has the exact same pics for both games. So does IGN PC.
Both of those shots clearly originate from PC.

Do bodies in kz2 gib when an explosion goes off next to them? People keep posting that gif of a grenade throwing a guy around like a gi joe doll and it looks really stupid.

The only one that I would say looks better than KZ2 is Alan Wake, and maybe Uncharted.

Far Cry 2 and GeoW2 do not look better than KZ2, and I own both of those games and have played them on the same hdtv. Alan Wake may look better but I'm still not sure which are PC or 360 shots. Uncharted 2 may look better as well from what I've seen from the beta.

Overall, those two games aren't out yet so if you can say these are graphics king, I'll raise you by saying I know of a game that comes out within 4 years that will blow them all away, I'm just not going to tell you what it is yet, but trust me, it will come!

I agree, it looks amazing.

Yep i guess when devs take their time with the 360 you get some stunning looking games.

Have you played Far Cry 2 on consoles? It looks nothing like that.
IGN PS3 has the exact same pics for both games. So does IGN PC.
Both of those shots clearly originate from PC.

I was going to ask him that.

Far Cry 2on Consoles isn't recognized by anyone as a graphics anything, perhaps Graphics Jester.

Killzone 2 is without a doubt the King. Uncharted 2 is the successor to the throne.

most of those arent out yet. Gears 2 is not better looking, love my gears, but it has this fuzz factor to it that the other games dont.. when you get close to a character models face, self shadowing and stuff just has this weird fuzz to it, i think its to mask some graphical hitches

Honestly, I gotta say, Killzone 2 and even MGS4 are pretty much top of the game right now. Some parts of MGS4 blow my mind with how good they look.

There are aliasing problems with EVERY game on the 360 and PS3. Every single one. you know why? AA costs lots of memory and power and it is not worth the huge FPS hit with their low ammount of VRAM (both). That guy is spewing bull the whole damn time, but you areen't actually better in anyway, you keep on saying how bad it looks despite it getting praise for it's good graphics.
