2.) KZ2 is addictive and fun, the accessibility is it's weak point (if you want to call it that). The game's sty|e and mechanics naturally sift out a hardcore audience. It's unforgiving and takes skill to master the game.ThePistolGod
1) Any game takes skill to master.
2) No, it's not unforgiving. I'm tired of hearing people say it's hard to have a good k/d in this game, it's really not. I have 3 PSN accounts, all at1.9 or above. I play on my friends account when I go over to his house and I still finish with 2.0 k/d or above while still leading my team in points. He's one of the highest ranks in the game.
I don't brag about skills because I don't think I'm that good at most games, but I keep hearing how KZ2 takes so much skill to play and all this other stuff but I don't have any problems, at all.
First of all, you're a good player. Not everyone can and will have stats like that, and you and I can't be an indication of casual players as a whole.I didn't say other games don't take skill to master. I just think KZ2 is less forgiving than say COD4, WAW, or R2. I say so because of these reasons:
---
1.) No fully regenerating health/ armor. You're dependent on a medic to heal you (unless you're a medic yourself). And the health you can regenerate, does so much slower.
2.) You die quickly. Adding a high player count can be overwhelming and frustrate casual players. You can die quick in COD4 as well, but the respawn wait time is nonexistent, in addition, you can hide and recharge your health to 100%.
3.) GG interpretation of controlling the character leads to unorthodox aiming (different dead zone), and momentum. Add in the unique recoil and lack of ability to shoot whilst jumping, almost non-existent aim assist (amongst other things) and it changes the way players are used to playing on consoles.
4.) The matchmaking isn't as in-depth as popular titles. You basically only have the option to play with everyone (including high ranks), or only players with your number rank.
---
I'm not saying KZ2 is better than those games at all though. There are many things they do better than KZ2, the main one is appealing to a wide audience.
