yea that's gameplay was from soldier of fortune payback aka number 3.
that one sucks compared to soldier of fortune 2 though since wasnt made by original dev new one has better graphics about it gameplay sucks ass though.

but I'm pretty sure you'd do that getting shocked, blown or set on fire don't think any of those 360 pivots are done while getting shot even if it looks like it in the clip

How come in every killzone 2 vid i see, whenever one of the helghast gets his helmet blown off, his head looks like a skull or something, like theres no hair and its just a skull, think scorpion from mortal kombat (minus the flames) sorry if im being ignorant but i never played the first killzone so maybee its allready been explained but im curious to find out.

You won't. If I don't mods can ban me from GS, besides I'm pretty sure this game wont go AAA. Trust your gut on this one. What does it matter if they decide to slap it with a score of 8.5 or a 9.0 ? Is that going to change the game itself and your desire to play it either way ?

Man, the graphics are just so impressive. Way better than killzone imo. YES YES, I know crysis is still better technically but killzone 2 graphics just seem so much more visceral, crysis graphics seems good but boring compared to K2.

I only glanced sparingly at the knife exploit video. I didn't want the good stuff spoiled. I think the fact that playing through the entire campaign with only a knife would be pretty boring could mitigate the exploit. MP, is another story, but MP AI is much smarter :P

why do you know that? :D I'm a classical and opera fan. Hell if they made more montages where the gamplay fit the music as perfectly as it did there I'd be a fan too
it is indeed visually stunning... the more i see about the game the more i get hyped :)
i agree though that a co-op mode would make this game more awesome.... lets hope GG listens to us and announces that a co-op mode will be available maybe as an update/patch later on... 4 player co-op throughout the whole campaign would give much more replay value to an already awesome package..

Looking at it again, I still think it just looks dumb. Yes, Killzone 2 has nice animations, but putting it on slo-mo with opera music? A stupid, stupid move in my opinion.
does anyone know if KZ2 uses the cover mechanic during online matches? Someone just told me it did not. I am getting this game anyway but that would be a real letdown if it did not incorporate the cover into online play.T_0_D
you don't need the cover in MP.. MP is very fast pace, you will be dead in a second if you use a cover. KZ2 tries to be a little bit realistic in the shooting damage.. so if you run into a crossfire, you'll be dead in less than 5 seconds, just like a real life soldier that got shot five times in the chest. cover system would've slowed you down, and made you an easy kill target for someone with a rocket launcher or a grenade.
