Also those Crysis tech demos that were down on the consoles looked awful, muddy textures, to trees and objects appearing in front of your eyes because of limited draw distance, the bubble affect with levels which can limit gameplay, and all that being played under 1280x720 resolution, yuk . Consoles are very limited what they can do in level size,objects textures,detail, and they end up having to tweak, cut,cover,hide its short commings. Consoles dont have the power behind them to pull off sharp images and detail textures and have to hide, or add effects to cover up the ugly. Thats why 98% of console games dont even play at even 1280x720 (ie 720p) they have to upconvert to even fill the screen descently Heres a Crysis pic from my Pc.

Facts is Crysis is more details than Killzone 2, remember Crysis CAN'T put in console. Cuz it's impossible... :P

Comparing the two games in motion makes an even better case for Killzone 2

Note the horrid animation in Crysis.

You can't talk badly about Crysis because Hermits tend to have meltdowns when they realise that a $400 console has better looking games then their overpriced super rig. And lemmings will jump right on the bandwagon with them since they're still lovin' up on Halo 3 which look honestly looks like an N64 game and they know that nothing on the 360 can compete.

Seriously... the multiplayer isn't good at all. All it really has is graphics. I admit... I too would take screenshots of Crysis while my SLI cards were in action... but what for honestly? If you think deeply hard about it.... no gives a rat's ass. It reminds me of these freaking rice rocket asians that meet up at my local starbucks and compare cars while drinking their mocha late's... why meet up at a public place when no one could care less? Same here... why post Crysis pics when only PC gamers will probably care anyway? You're preaching to the choir. Up to now... I "try" to engage in Crysis multiplayer to convince myself that building this PC was worth it... but God... the muli is just not fun. And I'm not like a lot of my PC playing friends who just love "replaying" Crysis over and over again... and then continue to take screenshots.

I had even more fun playing KZ2 and it looks phenomenal on an HDTV. Once you get past the graphics of Crysis... its an above average game. Go ahead and argue the graphics (provided you've got the PC for it)... but gameplay is all opinion.

This thread was about graphics comparisons of Killzone 2 and Crysis. Why look at graphics? Because that's what the thread was about. You had more fun playing KZ2, great. But Crysis looks far better regardless of what fanboys want to say. I enjoyed KZ2 as well and play the multiplayer alot and the MP in KZ2 is far superior to Crysis/Warhead. But, this thread is about graphics and despite Killzone 2's phenomenal graphics, Crysis has it beaten by a mile. And the whole "if you have a PC for it" doesn't work. That's like saying "Killzone 2 looks great...provided you have the PS3 to play it...". No, sorry, doesn't work.

Idk what's worse...the creation of this thread or the fanboys actually agreeing with TC. *facepalm*

Even after 20 pages, TC still hasn't provided proof to back up his claim.

Notice the detail in the water effects when the third fish gets back handed making water fly into the eyes of the 5th and 6th fish blinding them and in turn makes them crash into each other.

oh man. I installed that CCC thing and oh boy!!!!!!!!!!!!! The graphics!!!!!!!!! I struggled to run it at 1440x900 with some sliders on medium but after installing these new configs. I can play it on high and at 1680x1050 and at a playable framerate!!!!!!!!!!!! Only thing when installed it, I wasnt sure what system to use. I chose a low to medium rig. I wasnt sure what my 4670 comes under.

Running on NVIDIA Geforce 9500M GS. There's about 30 million gaming capable laptops sold in 2008 i.e. out numbering the entire PS3 userbase.
