Killzone 3 has to compete with Gears of War 3 ... good luck Killzone.

Both games are looking great and shaping up better than their previous entrys, however, has big as Gears is, Killzone 3 will have some tough competition when it comes to best shooter.. From what we've seen of each... the little there is... Which are you most looking forward to?

gears 3 can be either one of the best tps this gen (if its anything like gears 1) but it could easily just be Gears of war 2..............I have hope but I'm weary. Microsoft1234

Gears will have more advertising and more sales but Killzone will be the better game and my choice for 2011.

Gears 3 will obliterate Killzone 3 in sales.

Killzone 3 will be way better, i love TPS but more realistic ones not with oversized characters that move around like tanks.

There is one easy way to make Killzone 3 infinitely better than Gears 3 can ever aspire to be: Kill Ricofunsohng

1. It looks like a big improvement over 2 (which was good but not great)
2. Gears of war is boring as hell.
3. Move controls > Dual Analog

KZ3 could easily be the best FPS of 2011 and one of the best of this gen, unless R3 turns out the way im hoping and sounding like it would be :D. Gears 3 on the other hand is likely to be trumped by U3 easily, especially afetr how much the standards have risen from U2

imho killzone3 is taking a huge leap forward with their franchise adding 3d and move support. gears3 isnt doing anything new and looks like a straight up rehash to me, same ol same. killzone3 wins easily, shooter of the year imho

haha the one moving around is "romancing" the other and failing :P. But yes on topic, Gears 3 graphically looks like a decent step above 2, but other than that it doesnt seem much better to me.

uncharted vs gears would be the better comparison to make....and gears is a tps, killzone is a fps, killzone is coming out in the first half of 2011 gears is coming out in the second, the only competition that will occure is between the fans of the two franchises

No it would not, there is no poll here that 360 would get more than 30%, not a single one has scored more than that so far, at least i have not seen any

PS3 always gets 70%+, it is just that most people here only have a PS3, and is obvious would vote for it in every poll

Killzone 3, only because we know more about about, and I;ve actually PLAYED Killzone 3, and know I like it a lot.

I personally don't see the appeal towards Killzone. It looks like a very decent game, but I'm just not seeing much of any differences between it and other shooters. I will say that the apparent weight of the guns and whatnot makes the game feel more intense, though.

To be fair, you could make that generalization towards any game with any genre. For example, I could say Gears of War 3 looks like any other Third Person Shooter with a cover system.

Killzone 3 easily. The gs staff seem to love killzone series a lot after watching the k3 preview , Killzone 2 won shooter of year for a reason.

Doubtful , still dont see a game on the 360 that beatas Uc2 so I doubt its gonna beat KZ3 . The 360 simply doesnt have the horsepower.
