[QUOTE="Crazyguy105"]Looks like he won't going by the latest trailer.D=Oh God I hope Rico dies at the beginning of the game.

I will probably break the game disc if I had to sit through all 70 minutes worth of cutscenes only to find out that Rico lives.
It better be CG because Killzone 3 graphics arent exactly the best for cutscenes. Looks cool in game.

Your kidding right? The cutscenes look outstanding. Only some of the best graphics to grace a console.
Well made cut-scenes help gamers immerse themselves in the sp story... so 70mins of cut-scenes are more than welcome..
Also as for Rico, why all this hate?? he's cool, give him a break :)
how much did reach have?Fyi everyone: Halo Reach had over 60 minutes of cutscenes and cinematics and I didn't hear anyone complaining then.

It has 70 minute of cut-scenes not 70 minute cut-scenesjust hope they dont go the mgs4 route...

Watch the Story trailer and tell me it will be boring.Wow, what a boring game this will be. Sony so stuck in their old formula.

Nah people tend to exaggerate, the longest cutscene was the end/credits. I prefer games with rich stories and more cutscenes. I wish more games would do this. It's crazy to hear some people ask if the cutscenes are skippable. Why would you skip them?!?!!:x

How about implementing the story into the gameplay?
Less cut scenes but still the same content.
You can make a great story without having a single cutscene but most devs seem to take the easy way out.
This is why I don't like big blockbuster Console titles. Cutscenes, cutscenes and more cutscenes. Seriously, I still wonder hoe the fck people can play games like Uncharted en get enjoyment out of it. It BORED me to HELL. Press this button and blam! cutscene again. If I wanna watch a movie I ll go do that, a game is meant to be played, cutscenes SUCK. Only Blizzard does them the right way with cinematics wich instead of letting your characters ego grow actually really tell something about the game ONCE very often.
Stop ruining gaming with **** cutscenes. Especially in shooters lol. Take an Example at Valve how it should be done with Half Life.

Wow, nice sig. I like you now. Video game directors want to be movie directors, just like actors want to be musicians.70 minutes of cut scenes in a game that is probably at the least 8 hours long sounds quite reasonable to me. After all, I was hoping that they would put some emphasis on the story. I am glad that it appears they have done so, instead of slapping together a shoddy, half-assed campaign in favor of putting all of their focus on the multiplayer only like other shooters we are all too familiar with.

Meh, imagine MGS or Mass Effect being told as a story like Half-Life 2. It doesn't immerse you as well. Don't get me wrong HL2 is one of my favorite games ever but it's cutscenes make a story much better. One reason why I can't stand the COD campaigns as well.
Taking their terrible stories serious i see.

Killzone has one of the most interesting and deep backstories, actually. It's just that it wasn't fully realised with the first 3 Killzone's (Liberation included), yet with Killzone 3, it seems like they're actually going really in-depth with everything.
They didn't need to announce the 70 minutes of cut-scenes part. I already knew the plot and story telling would be atrocious.jg4xchamp
So you've played game? Sweet, what's it like?

PSN: Terror531 Potential Spoiler for people with bad taste Rico gets your boy shot, and then has the ****ing nerve to tell you to suck it up. Homeboys douchebag friend gets killed by Radec. You go on a mech spree, then you make an assault on some fortress bull****, fight Radec, a bunch of dudes, and ****. Rico kills Vasari. Game ends with a giant Helghan Fleet coming in over head. I apologize for actually having some ****ing standards when it comes to plot :][QUOTE="BigBoss154"][QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]They didn't need to announce the 70 minutes of cut-scenes part.
