Hello everyone. Im very pleased to share with you news that I hope will bring some excitement to those readers with a predilection for all things Helghast and ISA and those who perhaps could well have in the very near future. I can confirm that 24th October will see the launch of Killzone Trilogy.

As you may ascertain from the Trilogy moniker, this forthcoming release will feature all three ground-breaking PS2 and PS3 titles that form the critically acclaimed Killzone triptych.
Heres a rundown of what you can find contained within the appropriately dark and brooding box. Firstly, we have Killzone HD which, as you may have guessed, is the curtain-raising original Killzone that kick-started the series, but now with a stunning HD makeover and full trophy support.

But that is not quite all. Not only will the Trilogy include the three titles, but the package will also include all the Killzone 2 and 3 multiplayer map packs free of charge. The full map package is as follows:

One thing i will say though... hardly any point adding the map packs and all that... killzone mp isnt really that popular

Even if it was, that was a long time ago. I don't see the multiplayer being good now.

did they really do hd remake of the first killzone? no remake could save that pos unless they rework the entire game from the ground up

though the euro cover does look nice

I tried playing KZ2 MP the other day and I could only find 1 match and it had 2 people in it. Maybe this will reignite the MP.

Actually Killzone HD doesn't look that bad. The gameplay will still be pretty bland, but a lot of the issues with Killzone stemed from the fact that it was a PC title that was forced on the PS2. I knew this when I played the game last gen on my PS2. It just didn't feel like it was built for the PS2.

They should of put the first KZ on PSN for Vita.

Good for people that never played Killzone, but I have no real interest in a Killzone collection. I already own the second, and third games and the first one sucked so bad I have no interest in ever touching it again.

Definitely will be getting this as I haven't played the original Killzone.

ill pick up the first KZ on psn. I actually felt the sp wasint bad it sure was better then KZ3 sp.

According to IGN it's $40. That makes sense consider all the other HD collections are the same price.

Unless they release this with a budget price (IE $30 or less) I'll pass. I already have the second, don't care about the first and I definitely don't care about the map packs since I have no plans on playing the multiplayer.

FPS are not my favorite genre by any stretch of the imagination (representing your character by only seeing arms and gun barrel doesn't do a whole lot for me.) KZ2 was the first fps I played that I genuinely enjoyed, simply because it was the first fps where I didn't feel like a camera on a turret. Take some deep breaths, man.

Then apparently you haven't played a lot of FPSs if that's what you think, depsite you saying you've been playing them since 1992. Did you just pick 1992 becuase that's the year that Wolfenstien 3D came out? There is nothing you've ever posted to show any evidence that you're not some kid who can't afford anything but a PS3, hense your ridiculous bias towards a platform that is, by all accounts, very much average in pretty much every way.
