LOL there is nothing orignal about KZ2's art direction. In fact it looks extremely generic. A terrible color palette mixed with a uninspiring art direction. Whats so distinct about a grey scaled factory setting and characters ripped out of Jinroh The Wolf Brigade?

I am hyping it because it looks GOOD.

The graphics are amazing, better than everything else (GeOW looks great but not quite as good), the animations are great like the way the enemies react to being shot and blown up, the textures look nice.

The gameplay also looks great. the First person cover system looks good, the guns seem to be well balanced, it looks like it will be fun.

It looks IMMERSIVE, the way the camera moves as you run, the art style, the fact its ALL fps makes it look very immersive.

The devs have put so much effort into it. Sony has put so much money into it. its not even guerilla making it any more, its a developers ARMY!!!! with tons of cash. hats not to hype? There is EVERYTHING going for it. but it will never go through lemmings thick skulls, becuase they cant play it so they dismiss it as being bad.

Bottom line fanboy is you want this, and you cant get it. deal with it.

Gotta agree here, Banjo looks like crap compared to most 360 games, and considering it uses such simplistic locales, and is a platformer and has so little going on, it should look better than it does. Banjos fur is pathetic, SMG's mole boss has better looking fur!

There seems to be some kind of misconception about me that you people are having. If I'm a fanboy, then a fanboy of what? I'm a PCWII60 gamer, so what animal am I?

I'm am also certainly not jealous, I aknowledged that LBP looks like a great game and should be hyped by PS3 users as opposed to KZ2.

I'm not looking out only for myself, but for the gaming industry. I refuse to sit back and watch generic shooter 106 be hyped to the moon like so many other times.

It makes sense for the buildings to be made of the same material really, look out of your window, unless you live in the middle of loads of factories, what are all the buildings by you made of, the same coloured bricks, or wood or whatever, they'll be the same style too.

And I really don't understand all the hype for Banjo's screens. They look really average to me, especially for a 360 game, looks slightly better than Galaxy IMO. Nowhere near beautiful.

yes that is correct. cows bashed the game because they could not play it. same reason lemmings bash killzone for its superiority and also not to mention uncharted.

i for one have bashed gears 1 in the past till i played it on the pc where i found it to be a decent shooter but it was nothing amazing like how people made it out to be. in my opinion killzone 2 looks great visually but i also think the game will be a solid shooter at best maybe a 8-9 score.

Hehe, the enemies look like the combine, the game is all grey, and the environments look like WWII if all of the plants were hunted down and killed mercilessly. And this is just the graphical side, I'm sure there will be more in the near future.

I also never want to hear the term "Killzowned" ever, EVER again. I think I have diarrhea now.
