Actually, the original was hyped to be AAA, so it officially did flop. I don't think it was a bad game, but I acknowledged it flopped.

oh ye ok then mass effect was hyped AAAA but it got AA so its a flop right. fable was hyped AAA but it didnt come close so thats a flop too right?? so much for your logic.

i know the first killzone had its flaws but until someone actually plays it you wont know that it was actually a decent little game but was very ambitious for the ps2 and it simply couldnt handle it resulting in technical issues etc. and anyway why do people seem to think that because the first iteration of a game doesnt score AAA it is assumed that all future sequels will also follow??

Yes, both Mass Effect and Fable flopped, what's your point? And for your information I liked Killzone 1, I just recently finished another plathrough. I'm just stating that the game flopped in scores, which is fact. I also wasn't the one stating that KZ2 will flop because KZ1 did, you've got me mixed up with someone else. I'll also give you a free tip, don't be so aggressive.

well i dont think those game flopped just because they didnt recieve the scores they were hyped to get.

and sorry i wasnt aiming this at you i meant in general why do people think just because 1st game scores low it automatically means future sequels will fail.

I pretty sure games are considered flops here when they score lower than their hype level, but that still doesn't make them bad games. I also agree with you, KZ2 should get a fair chance, it's looking pretty good so far.

well i think KZ2 will do great it looks visually great arguably the best looking game so far and its stil in pre-alpha stage. its remarkably close to the cgi trailer but obviously will never outdo it in terms of effects and textures and such. also the gameplay looks very solid i expect it to be a COD4 style game fast paced action

Maybe if you were more secure with yourself and the game, you could simply say "Killzone 2 looks really good" rather than trying to use it as a wedge issue with that bombastic title of yours.
