Some of the features like utilizing the Kinect to create an avatar is interesting to say the least. Wonder how often it yields good results though. They only showed a couple of people, and could have heavily edited it.

I have no real interest in using the Kinect only for a games control. Maybe using it for supplemental gesture commands, but full control would annoy me.

It seems like a casual game, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, just not really something I would feel compelled to buy.

That's impressive and the real potential of Kinect for games. Family, kids, and party games with Kinect-centric features. Kinect in my eyes will never replace controls for Core games. But that facial recognition and ability to map a likeness of yourself into a game, that's the beginning of some truly creative stuff. Kinect Sports Rivals looks cool. My son liked the first one.

Kinect works great in the waveracer demo. Its still a terribly boring game.

i cant believe all the lies about xbox one there is. i read how the frame rates always drop. and how it makes ur tv shows look worse and how long the updates take .. and i got my titanfall bundle yesterday and all that was bs. i had it hooked up to my surround sound in 5 minutes and the day 1 update took about 10 minutes max plus the last update too. i really like the system and i cant wait to play this game too

That was a real rumor....I had ( recently cut the cord ) Direct TV hooked up through the X1 and there was no difference in picture quality.

I can't even be sarcastic about this. Waggle games are incredibly unappealing. They overstayed their welcome last generation and they have no place in this one.

I think it looks pretty cool. I wish they would give optional controls because I just had 6 screws and a plate put on my fibula so standing and playing aren't really in my near future but it still looks like a good game to say the least. The facial recognition for creating an avatar is really cool. May even end up being a four of therapy for me so bring it MS.

That's a lie well at least based on my experience. As a matter of fact my screen looks BETTER through the Xbox One. But again I can only comment on my own experience. Others may have a different take.

I just can't see how the picture would be downgraded through the console. *shrugs*

I'll get it for the kids and family to have fun with but what I am most interested in is seeing what happens if I put on a mask or something. Can I play as "Predator" if I have a high end Predator mask, lol

This is my next digital purchase for the XB1. My nieces and nephews love the first two Kinect Sports games.

This is getting abysmally low. First lems consider Titanfall their exclusive because its not available on PS4. Now we're hyping Kinect games. In no time they will be hyping new AA batteries Microsoft released for their controller that uses batteries in 2014. Holy f*ck.

what i can say is the kinect on xbox one, works a lot better then 360. only fails 15-20% of time instead of 80% (own personal expereince)

Kinect works better than PS4 camera(lol) does. Fantasy is going to be great using Kinect.

That is only for European 50hz TVs that the picture is degraded through the XB1. That issue was supposedly fixed in the latency system update.

I am a techie and I have cable TV routed through my XB1. The cable box reset its output resolution to 720p the first time I hooked it up to the XB1. I don't see the degradation that you speak of after I changed to cable box resolution back to 1080i.

Kinect has to prove that it is actually a good device for gaming by having an actual good Kinect-based game released.

So far, every single one has failed to do so. The Fighter Within wasn't the colossal humiliation that Steel Battalion was, but it certainly didn't help the Kinect's reputation. The gaming community in general is perfectly justified for dismissing this one on first impressions alone. It will be a good family game like Wii Sports was, but nothing more. And a game like that certainly doesn't even need to be mentioned on System Wars.

Why on earth cant we hype kinect games? I have a wife and children that will absolutely love this, and I will love playing it with them. There are people with lives that differ from your own, different opinions, different circumstances. Get some perspective.

Day One for me. Those water effect almost get me seasick. The game looks great. I'll be playing this with my daughter the whole day. I can't wait to scan her into the game.
