KNACK reminds me of the 90's mascot days. It's been described as a mixed of Crash Bandicoot and God of War in terms of gameplay. The graphics look like they're from a Pixar movie, and KNACK will be a PS4 Launch title. Could this be Sonys next mascot?   Knack looks like it will showcase next-gen physics and particle effects quite well. I'm definitely excited for it. I think it was the most underrated game at Sonys press conference. And before anyone mentions platforming game sales...... Let me remind you that LittleBigPlanet sold over 5+million copies on PS3.

Mark Cerny is an absolute boss.

I'm honestly not very interested in this game (and I happen to love 3d plats) but I will give him the benefit of the doubt and give it a try, he's helped make some of my favourite games of all time (Crash you sexy mofo)

Definitely looks fun, this guy has a very impressive portfolio to say the least.  I just hope Knack can live up to Crash, Jak, Ratchet, etc.

Knack sometimes looks like a Mechanized Ganoon/Ganondorf in some of those pics; I think he has potential to be a mascot for the PS4.

He didn't create Sonic the Hedgehog the only Sonic game he worked on was Sonic 2.

He didn't create Sonic the Hedgehog the only Sonic game he worked on was Sonic 2.

Old school gamers who grew up in the N64/PlayStation days, and even the PS2 days will really appreciate a platformer like this. Just reading off Mark Cerny's portfolio of games brings back nostalgia.

At another forum, someone mentioned that Knack (in his bigger state) shares a resemblance with Ganondorf from Zelda.

I think goal of Knack is to show that Ps4 can handle phisics on lot of objects :> the first PS4 tech demo he showed was exacly that As for mascot.... i would like to see more Kuro and Toro outside Japan :) they ae really cool

I think Sonys goal of making a game like KNACK is to give the launch line up some diversity.

On Feb 20th, we saw a FPS, Racing game, Open-World TPS..... Knack rounds out the launch line up by adding a platformer that will appeal to Nintendo fans, old school gamers, and younger people.

I like it the little I've seen. Looks unassuming but fun and appealing somehow. I could go for a bonafide, solid 3D platformer. Feel like I haven't played one of those since Croc or something. F***ing everyone was making those games back then. They made one where you're a goddamn glove. It was called Glover. Jesus.

Zenimax owns the rights to Croc now apparently.

Lemmings always come across with these high standards when it's a discussion dealing with anything sony, lol but when it comes the the company they praise...they don't seem to have any standards at all.

Nice long list of failed mascots. It's too late to have a mascot, Nintendo couldn't invent a new one if they tried. Mario and Sonic worked out because they were in games that were THE game to get on the system. New systems have a much more broad audience so there is no one game that everyone gets.
