Konami Drops MGS4 360 hints with poster ........

Compression my friend, they could get it onto 2 discs easily. It's mostly the lossless audio and cutscenes taking up so much space, both of which can be compressed a lot further (especially the lossless audio.)

No offense but they clearly aren't just ink blots. I'm open to it maybe not being a 360 but there are CLEARLY pictures of the PS3, PSP and gamecube on there.

Maybe since PS3 was originally backwards compatible it covers PS1 and PS2...ever think of that. 360 is backwards compatible.

You are just a huge fanboy and refuses to accept that this very well could be true due to Kojima and crew's mysterious nature. Again if it's not true it sucks, but I could see a special edition version releasing a year later on PS3 and 360. It would be worth their while.

It depends on the sales of the Playstation 3 version to be honest, if it's successful enough they likely won't port it. If it underperforms they'll likely port it to boost sales.

But I don't know, it seems to be reading a bit heavily into the entire thing, because for me, that just looked like a black shape. I mean, I have the poster as a wallpaper on desktop and it doesn't look an X360 to be honest.

I agree with you, but the lossless audio adds so much to games. People always talk like lossless audio and HD audio doesn't matter much to games, but those have to be people who can't take advantage of the codecs. I can only imagine how bad ass MGS4 is going to be with some lossless audio.

According to numerious interviews with the creator of the game, amoung many other times him, his team, sony, and friggen Peter Moore when he worked for Microsoft said its not coming.... this game will not come to the 360.

Still, there is no guarantee that this game wont go elsewhere. Bethesda openly laughed at the idea of a PS3 version of oblivion just three weeks before announcing it. Itagaki said that no game of his would release on a console other than xbox ever again, and though he is prone to exaggeration, he's still ended up with ninja gaiden on both the DS and PS3.

Face it. It's a possibility. There are no exclusivity deals here, so it's completely open to Konami.

That was epic. Kojima is truly a genius.The shapes represents the consoles that a Metal Gear was on and what's it's going to be on. Can't wait the Metal Gear game that'll be on the 360. It probably won't be MGS4, but it'll be something else, Kojima is a genius.

It would not take 10 DVDs to do MGS4 on 360...

Maximum would be 2 DVDs which I doubt.

THe BDROMs have a really slow read speed so Kojima likely duplicated data to reduce load times and maximize quality. I refuse to believe that Kojima is the only developer that filled the entire BD with "unique" data. I can't wait for someone with a Blu Ray drive in PC to pop in the game and it say that only 11.6 GB of data is on it or something like that.

Lossless audio is unique data. And no, probably there's no duplicate data on disk, as the game already requires a 5GB install to speed loading up.

They could downgrade the audio quality however, I guess they could make it a 4DVD game if they did(but this version would still carry the 'downgraded' stigma).

Made me laugh, don't care either way.

Funnier however seeing all the people taking this for real and getting wound up over it.
