Denial is strong in this thread. Even if it is not coming to 360 there is no doubt that those are consoles. The PS1 and PS2 are not on there because the PS3 respresents all 3 consoles for Sony.

For me this is proof it will be coming to 360 and it is only a matter of time.

Cows still going on about the 50 gig blu-ray crap? Have you not studied how blu-ray works???? Did you know that MGS4 could fit on 2 dvd9's? Yes It could because DVD 9 doesn't have to have everything programmed 12 times where as Blu-Ray does. There's dev's that have mentioned this as well.

"He acknowledges that with the greater storage space of Blu-ray "there is the potential to use that to do something cool," but he argues that "most developers who use the entire Blu-ray drive are doing it to work around other problems with the PS3 such as its slow loading."

He adds, "For instance, in Resistance: Fall of Man, every art asset is stored on disk once for every level that uses it. So rather than storing one copy of a texture, you're storing it 12 times. If you took that entire game and removed all the duplicate data, it would likely fit on a DVD without any problem."

If only cows would realize this. Other Dev's have said this as well. I guarantee MGS4 will be on 360 by this time next year! All you have to do is look how huge GTA 4 is and then look at games like Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey! All on DVD9's! So your 50 gig bull argument doesn't hold up when faced with faqs. Hey faqs even from Dev's.

It would take some compression but I'd say 2 DVD 9's will do it. and yes I believe the Dev's before I would even believe myself or you. Either way it's no big deal because we get NG2 and many great others. What i don't understand though is why do PS3 fan-boys protect MGS4 like it's there last hope?? Also Resistance was 22 gigs http://www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?article_id=79480 The dev here made it clear that Resistance could fit on a DVD9 if they took and removed the duplicate data which wouldn't even be needed on a DVD 9. Now considering Resistance was 22gigs and MGS4 is 50, common sense tells us it's very likely on 2 DVD9's with all the duplicate data removed. 3 maximum!

Just because MGS4 CAN fit on 2-6 discs on 360 does not mean it is coming to 360! NG2 can fit on Blu-Ray, so why not port it to PS3? Because the world does not work that way, that's why.

Of course people are going ot be defensive, MGS4 is literally their biggest game exclusively. It would be so beneficial to Konami if they made a 360 version, lots of mulla.

I'm quite sure they saw the GTA4 non-exclusive sales.

metal gear isnt that loyal to sony, they put mgs 2 on gamecube, the franchise started on nintendo, i mean its not like sony owns them, they might make a port a year later, cus that could make them alot of money. its slim, but it could happen, i however could care less, mgs is very boring to me.
