KZ2, console graphics king...Really?

Why?

I was able to play it recently for a longer period of time than I did before, and I don't see how this game is being praised in the grpahics department. If anything, Uncharted looks better.

The textures are bland, flat, and blurry. Perfect Dark Zero has better texture detail.

COD5 looks better, imo. There's the same ammount of action on screen, if not more, and COD5 is more detailed.

Gears 2 definately has more detail.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

I don't understand either, I am at the end of the game trying to beat Radec and through the whole game I have not figured out what is so great looking about it. I do love the hit detection on the enemies though. And the character shadows look like udder crap.

i own cod4 and cod 5 and i've played every major FPS in the history of gaming.

Its not graphics king because its not on the 360.

Personally its best looking and most immersive game that ive played on any console so far.

i own cod4 and cod 5 and i've played every major FPS in the history of gaming.

i agree with the textures some of them look ps2 quality but with all the effects scale and the amount going on plus the size of the areas i think its best looking game on a console..daveg1

You should try out pc gaming then. No console game will satisfy you (Yes, Gears 2 etc but...... consider that you just don't like the fact that KZ2 looks incredible).

Yes REALLY and this is why its the Console GRAPHICS KING.

I personally think killzone2 is a very good looking game. Not close to Crysis level of graphcis, but for a conhsole they are top notch.

I think the console graphics war =

1. Killzone2

2. Kameo

3. Uncharted

4. Gears2

5. Resident Evil5/MGS4

KZ2 also has the best lighting to ever grace a console.

I desagree with the Fable2 part but Banjo N&B is easly one of the best looking games this gen :P

i just dont like how people always bring this thread up, I also dont like how people just cant give credit to KZ2, it has great graphics, it doesnt have to be Graphics king but people still down play it liek its nothing, and then the PC guys come in here and say PC hass the best Graphics, the funny thing is WE ALL KNOW THAT, so when talking about killzone dont mention Graphics King, and PC gaming, those have all been brought up numereous amounts of time , and it leads to no where

Killzone 2 is graphics king. Its been agreed. No matter how much you you try to bash it. You can have your opinion but most of us dont agree.

Really, CoD5 > KZ2 graphically, that's a joke.

I've got both, well had both but I traded in CoD5 and Killzone 2 obliterates CoD5 in every way imaginable. Character models, gun models, textures, action, animations, lighting.

Killzone 2 is easily the graphics king for consoles, get over it already, it's been said in review after review, including Gamespot's.
