What's with this Gears 2 having great graphics? Gears 2 lost to MGS4 in the VGA and MGS4 won the technical graphics award on gamespot link here. Which gears 2 wasn't even nominated for :lol:. And KZ2 is more technically impressive than MGS4.

To be fair, though, the Technical Graphics Award here was a sham. MGS4 beat Crysis Warhead, which basically makes MGS4 look like a PS2 game.
crysis warhead, is just crysis thats why if Crysis had just came out then it would of beat MGS4, but since its not really a new game.

I was able to play it recently for a longer period of time than I did before, and I don't see how this game is being praised in the grpahics department. If anything, Uncharted looks better.
The textures are bland, flat, and blurry. Perfect Dark Zero has better texture detail.
COD5 looks better, imo. There's the same ammount of action on screen, if not more, and COD5 is more detailed.
Gears 2 definately has more detail.
Anyone care to enlighten me?

It was considered graphics king by many many reviewers. IMO it looks and plays more realistic than any game on a console to date. About your Gears 2 comment if millions of jagged edges and very bad detail on objects up close to you is better detail then so be it.
Don'tsay thatman, Gears has better detailing, but killzone has better lighting but honestly who cares. Both games are great and better then their prequels but I think Gears of War 2 is better. 'Millions of jagged edges and bad detail' that is really not true, that only happens when the game is still loading.

Every game has places that has poor textures, its inevitable. No one is gonna go upto the wall in a game and observe every inch of detail. Its the overall look of the game that makes KZ2 amazing looking. Ok in some places textures may look off, PDO had jaggies n crap loads of crap textures, GEOW2 lacked textures in some areas, but the over all look (character detail, level design, amount of screen) makes you over look all "teh textures :cry: ".

many reviewers including gamespot have said Killzone 2 graphics are amazing i believe IGN said the best on console to date as well as alot of member of the forums. Show me the same for another game on console and i will agree with you. Until then Killzone 2 is graphics king on console.

Have you played Killzone 2? I've played KZ2, Gears and Gears 2. Killzone 2 looks better IMO. Linking two images doesn't really prove your point.
