Looks like another great ROCKSTAR game. :) Hey, if all Activision games get the rap of being Activision games and the negative association there(even for Blizzard titles...) then this one sure as hell will get the same treatment in regards to Rockstar.
Whatever helps you sleep at night... :roll: Anyway, It looks amazing and the action sequences seem to be limited with more actual detective work being displayed. We've had enough *Run, Run, Shoot, Shoot * from Rockstar this gen. Oh and the facial animations looks SICK!
Actually if you watch the gameplay videos the PS3 is the lead platform, unlike RDR when everything pre-release was shown on the 360.
edit that gameplay is nothing like heavy rain it just looks like the same ol rockstar open world game meh

How? When the gameplay consisted of more detective work than shooting? And 'same old rockstar open world game' hardly warrant a meh, when they're leaders in the genre.

Looks pretty decent, other than the combat(not saying its bad). However, I think Im going to play it safe and not hold my breath. Gta4 was a letdown, and RDR was an even bigger one. When and if I get this, it'll be without any expectations.
about damn time! i've been waiting to see some true gameplay footage and that video did not disapoint. the facial animations are the best i've ever seen, the cases look like they're going to be a blast, this game is going to be amazing. my most antcipated game this year...

well it looks like it's safe to say if you didn't like RDR's combat then l.a. noir is probably not going to change that. they look very similar, which is a good thing imo.

First off it isn't a open world title. Why did you think it would be like Heavy Rain? It was never meant to be a interactive movie. The game plays out morew like a graphic Adventure with shooter elements (far from what Rpck Star has developed and BTW they aren't the devs anyways)
