Gran Turismo 5 will be presented at E3 in the U.S.

Tracks That Will Be In GT5

94 (Not Including Reverse[!]):

Each track is listed twice because it was copied from Google Translator and I was too lazy to delete the duplicates, sorry for the confusion. The tracks below aren't all 94 tracks, just the ones that are 'confirmed' to be in the game.

Possible Exclusive Tracks (not confirmed):

High Speed Ring (fate: no show in GT3; redesigned in GT4 and GT5P)

Special Stage R11 ver.GT1 (fate: no show in GT2; redesigned in GT3)

Test Course ver.GT1/2 (fate: redesigned in GT3)

Grand Valley East/Speedway ver.GT1/2 (fate: East no show in GT3; Speedway redesigned in GT3)

Grand Valley Speedway ver.GT3 (fate: redesigned in GT4)

Complex String (fate: killed off; replaced by Nurb-North?)

Grindelwald (fate: killed off or replaced by Eiger Nordwand?)

Rome Short Course/Circuit (fate: Short Course killed off in GT3; Circuit killed off in GT4)

Rome Night (fate: killed off; replaced by GeorgeV?)

Seattle Short Course (fate: killed off)

Green Forest Roadway (fate: killed off)

Smokey Mountain (GT3); North/South (GT2) (fate: killed off; replaced by Cathedral Rocks Trail 1/2?)

Pike's Peak Hill Climb/Downhill (fate: killed off or replaced by Grand Canyon in GT4)

Mid-Field Raceway ver.GT2/3 (fate: redesigned in GT4)

Red Rock Valley (fate: killed off, would be nice if it returned in GT5)

Tahiti Maze ver.GT2 (fate: redesigned in GT3)

Tahiti Dirt Route 3 (fate: killed off)

Tahiti Road (fate: killed off)

Tahiti Circuit (fate: killed off)

Sweet (if true of course) Though considering previous iterations, it would make sense.

Yeah man, those backgrounds make the game unplayable, my G25 wheel doesn't even work because of those backgrounds, maybe I should return it. :(

That's Crazy!!! (If true). We'll see at E3, if GT5 will even be shown at E3. Does E3 start in June or July?

Well I will believe when I see it. I am sure we will see something of GT 5 at E3. Sony has so many stellar games. A PSP release could explain the delay. Maybe Sony wasn't bsing when they said this will be their biggest E3 yet. This is going to be a good year for PS3 owners.

Do you even know how much work goes into the details of each track? It takes MUCH longer to model a track than a car.

I'm betting within a month after release it'll be at 100+ tracks because of DLC.

This is what they should do: show the trailer of the game going through all of these tracks, and then at the end, have a racer slip and hit another racer and they both crash into a wall displaying full damage. That would shut everyone the hell up forever. Hopefully the game comes out this winter.

Forza 3 will be better am confirmed. 100 tracks, 400 cars. fyi if you couldn't tell I was just trying to stir up some storms around here. :P Really though, that's sweet and a lot of tracks, but it would make more sense for how much frack'n time this game's been in development.

Whatever, still, the physics in the game are a joke. I cant believe how many people still think the game is realistic Graphically, PGR4 destroys it, models wise its JUST behind but environments and weather effects, it second to none. Its unbelievable how overlooked that game is

too bad half the cars in gt4 were rehashes of other cars. need i bring up the all the basically identical mazdas, hondas, all the mitsi lancers, the 3000 skylines in the game, all the imprezas, etc. take out all the unneeded extra cars that all look the same and you have even less than forza

Even ignoring the damage, the handling of the cars are way off, its hardly evolved over GT4 which is a joke of a sim. I couldnt care less about damage, but the physics engine is still last-gen

Yes according to race drivers, ive heard that sorry excuse many times, you do realise that any video game is a joke for the pros. Or are you under the impression the GT is the most realistic sim out there? But hey, everyone thought the last few GT games were realistic, so im guessing they are reliable:| Even then, the original Forza was tested by a few drivers and their real times were extremely close to the final times to the game. Yes thats right, on the original game which is a shadow of the driving engines found in Forza 2. Lets not even go into SimBin territory

willing to bet Forza 3 has 50 normal tracks or something, Forza 2 had like 10, and jumping to 100 is pretty big.

[QUOTE="FirstDiscovery"][QUOTE="Koalakommander"][QUOTE="Rikusaki"] Aww Hehe. :P I love you too.

willing to bet Forza 3 has 50 normal tracks or something, Forza 2 had like 10, and jumping to 100 is pretty big.

It had 12 environments, Turn 10 made all of them with painstaking detail.

Is that really worth it? Its not even that much quality over quantity, as much as flash over substance.

Yeah its called realism But i agree, the lack of tracks was probably the biggest flaw in the game. Still, go over to many hardcore sim websites, even Forza Central and youll see that even though the physics engine was way ahead of the first games (which was about 4 times as complex as GT4s, the same stuff that GT5P lifted) people are still whining it wasnt enough. Forza 2 is ugly as hell though, but you have to remember these environments are rendered in 3D with an incredibly complex driving engine all at 60FPS. Now that all that is down, i simply think Turn 10 will focus more on the content this time round which was sadly lacking last game (well tracks wise anyway).

I honestly haven't been interested in GT since Forza 1 was released, but if this is true, I may just pick this game up, assuming they have my car in the game. (Evo X) :P

And Polyphony's track models are much more accurate to real life.

EDIT: And BTW, are you actually comparing GT5 to Forza 2?

That car is in Prologue, so I don't see why it wouldn't be in the full game.

Low-res, replay, off-screen pics FTL Again, its funny how quickly people are fooled, those bitmap backgrounds stick out way more when you ACTUALLY play the game:|
