Yeah I agree. Hate L4D, even though I got it for free. So repetitive and short. How people would find that game of high value is beyond me.

[QUOTE="HavocV3"][QUOTE="Head_of_games"] Mindless my ass. Versus mode is where it's at. My favorite part of the game is playing as the Infected.Head_of_games
while I agree with versus being an awesome game mode. it's a bad overexaggeration regardless.
Halo has fireifight versus which works the same way except non-campaign, the idea isn't capitalized on much in general though. only other game that I can think of that allows you to play as a force slowing the progression of another person through a level is Perfect Dark.
Playing as Elites in Firefight is the same old gameplay as all Halo. Playing as the Infected is a fresh experience, each one is different than the rest and the survivors.*shrug* it still offers a different experience that most FPS developers aren't going to try anymore. better than doing nothing like Bad Company or COD. or whatever other stripped-down FPS game out on consoles.

Lethalhazard
fun factor is gigantic for some of us. it's also a game you can't memorize enemy patterns in. pile of zombies might be in one spot one time. the next time it might be a ghost-town.
the fleshed out story is actually very clever, only one cutscene, which is before the start menu, and then you're always wondering what the story could even be, and you only have some of Ellis' hilarious dialogues to go by. game has excellent level design to boot.
It's very repetitive, yes, and very low on content in a way, but it is also amazing and very well designed. The problem with the game is the crappy players who have no idea how to play. rolo107Maybe low on content at first, but they've been adding some nice DLC lately.

The multiplayer is where the game shines. It was meant to be played online and with friends.
[QUOTE="mitu123"]I suck so hard.:P Bronze league?:P[QUOTE="Arach666"] Btw,have you tried the mp of SC2?:DArach666
Daimond league here for all 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 :P
they are both really good, just lack content, and between the two games there isn't that much that really seperates them, put them together and you almost got one good game.
if you play it on the harder difficulties with friends the games are great, but they do get old quickly since the levels just become routine. If they added some sort of map editor or giant sandbox for people to get lost in... it might have longer legs.
Since we're talking about Valve. I got to say Half Life is pretty damn overrated too. Why do people say it's one of the most innovative fps games?? When it's just a well made Fps with a good story.bonzibuddyxxx
More opinions stated as facts. Not surprising.
*Points fingers, Ocelot style*
Totally agree.
How it beat Resistance 2 for "Best Co-op" is beyond me...
i loved the demo of L4D and rushed out to buy the first game at release...
but the appeal ran out real quick.

I was mainly referencing the original game. The sequel has quite a bit of content, especially now. Although I think the content dropped in quality a bit from the first to the second. So it all kind of balances out.
i thought they were pretty solid.
Versus rocks my socks and Mutation gives some sort of replaybility.
I disagree. I'm highly addicted to it.
Once you get some friends to play with, it becomes a delight to play the maps over and over again because there is no telling how things will end up. :P
The games are extremely repetitive....
Running around the same maps, killing dull and non interesting zombies who just throw there hands at you.
Versus matches take a long time and few actually stay for the whole duration.
Game gets old quick.
There are very few games that are as fun to play with a few of your close friends.I think it's the most underrated shooter this gen, easily the most fun FPS around. A game doesn't need to have kazillion different modes and maps to be good, quality > quantity.ManicAce
modes I agree with. Campaign, Versus and the one where you need to hold out for 10 minutes are the best but maps ... you can never have enough.
The games shipped with way too few maps, the AI director keeps things fresh for a while, but not forever. And releasing a campaign with 2 maps as DLC doesn't help much neither in the short lifespan of the game.
Have you actually played this game? The games are extremely repetitive....
