Yet, from what I been hearing from Lens Of Truth here, the PS3 version has awful screen tearing.

Plus the roofs, backgrounds, etc., looks more realistic on the 360 version judging by the screenshots, where the PS3 version looks more washed out.

In that first part, it was a different time of day in game, in the cutscenes they were the exact same. tman93

This and the screen on the left seems to have lower contrast.

Neither looks graphically impressive.

Dude, did you see the screen tear on the PS3 version? It's absurd. The game is an absolute mess in that regard and completely worthless to me. I ******* hate so much screen tear.

There isn't, however the first was ported just fine and I enjoyed that one.

Either way Assassin's Creed isn't one of my favourite series, so I don't mind waiting to find out.

AC2 has dated graphics, yet another game I can probabley run on my 2 year old lap top.

once again a 360 multiplat looking better. No surprise.

You are not even paying attention. He is adressing the myth that any 360 game on the PC for some reason requires a Godsend PC to run. They don't. An average PC can handle the vast majority of the PC ports, and most households have an average PC. PCs are no longer a luxury, in today's world, they are a commodity.

You can never assume everyone, but "everyone" is not necessary for the arguement to be valid. MOST households in America and Europe have PCs. So much is done via online and software services these days, it is pretty much a necessity to at least have access to a PC.

And you would have seen that screen tear without the yellow lines pointing it out to you. Heh. I watched the video too. Screen tear is what Sacred 2 constantly suffers from. There isn't even anything noticeable in that video of AC2. People will clearly see what they want to see. Hahadouken

I didn't assume anything. The assumption here seems to be that every single person who claims to own a PC and a PS3 is obviously a goddamn liar, which is ridiculous. I've been gaming on PC since Links 386, and consoles have come and gone the entire time but PC remains constant, as I imagine it does for a huge number of people.

The witch hunt for every person claiming their PC can run L4D2 is pointless, since they are probably right, whether or not they will actually buy or play the game.

Let's try a little experiment. If your PC, or a PC you have access to like Mom's, Dad's, Brothers, "the family computer" will NOT play L4D2 because it's that out of date, raise your hand. I have a laptop AND a PC that will run it, for example. One WAS a gaming rig 3-4 years ago and the other is just a whatever laptop, and both will chew the game up without any issue.

The number of people lying about being able to run this game will be exponentially lower than people claiming they can run Crysis, Total War, etc. since the system specs are lower. That's all I am saying.

Considering the differences can be minor, and a side-by-side comparison is needed to determine the "winner", i'd hardly say "ignorance is bliss", considering they have some of the best looking exclusive games aswell.

The screen tear is amongst the worst I've seen yet in a console game. Truly awful. But hey, you keep taking little digs at me, becuase even if you can't see the screen tearing, which I sincerely doubt, it details how bad it is at the bottom of the video.

No need to try to downplay reality, my friend. This game is a mess on PS3 in terms of screen tear.
