Lens of truth : Crysis 2 Retail Screenshot Comparison(PS3 and 360)

Props to Crytek, for their first console game they've got both versions up and running nicely. I know many will pick apart the screens, find small details that 'prove' their platform of choice as the 'winner', but minor differences/styles aside, I'd say they're equal and your getting a great product on either console. Don't want to spoli the party but I don't like their shots purely based on fact that they are 300x200.Why cant they just show full res screenshots?Its hard to see difference this way...but its minimal.

Look pretty similar, PS3 maybe has slightly better textures in a couple of places but not something you'd notice. Guess the cows can stop moaning about it then.bobbetybob

I can confirm that shot with textures on black guys arm are not yet loaded on 360 version ;) 360 version definitely for me,they do look about identical from very small shots but 360 runs on higher resolution.

yea me to, the game has crap multiplayer and 10 hour campaign aint worth $60

That shot of 360 is with not yet loaded textures.Also,it seems like at that one shot when you get out of the door in sunlight PS3 has sun set right infront of you and 360 has it set on right of you so you can't see it and it appears like lighting is different.You can notice that in videos or reflection on that glass skyscraper.

Thing is,in this game TOD changes when you replay the mission,sun gets set in different place and shadows change,great stuff :D

Another case of Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Splinter Cell..............Rage will surely beat the PS3 though. only hope left

Another problem is that they "catched" same settings(2nd page,4th shot) at different TOD so PS3 sun is set directy to you and 360 right from you resulting in stronger lighting in ps3 version.Game regulary changes TODs when you reply missions.
