Lens of truth : Crysis 2 Retail Screenshot Comparison(PS3 and 360)

Until I see a video or review showing the PS3 is the same or superior in the visual department I am getting the 360 version.

really wierd choice of screenshots. wtf.

They look identical, well done Crytek, I hope this shuts lems and cows up.

Install the game onto the HDD problem solved.

Plus PS3 has a install to help it load.

360 will have higher resolution,better textures compression(although almost unnoticable) and better shadows.

PS3 will be triple buffered with no tearing.

That doesn't say in cfg. files :P

Resolution is already debunked and compression and shadows are detailed in cfg files and one of their tech papers.

Are you sure? Also which console version would you consider the best one?

yeah, I gathered all of that. it's already a given the 360 will have the graphically superior version.

but we don't know about the performance :o anyways I'm sure the console to get this on is the 360.

Robbazking had a pretty good MP comparison with vids and screens, and they looked almost exactly alike. Retail SP might be a little different. I think everybody that saw that PS3 gameplay vid Crytek released thought it looked a little blurry, but otherwise it looked just like the 360 vid they showed where they mike a heavy. The mike is so freaking cool.

Its not fake but its certainly not "professional" because first they took shot where there was texture bug and in second its just different TOD so 360 version has "less bloom and lighting".In "real life" it actually has tad more because of different HDR,i will post comparison later.

Don't want to spoli the party but I don't like their shots purely based on fact that they are 300x200.Why cant they just show full res screenshots?Its hard to see difference this way...but its minimal.

Xbox 360 & PS3 are pretty much equal in power.

LOL, who would have thought that lems and closet lems would be damage controlling a lens of truth comparison, specially after very favorable demo build comparisons toward the 360. Seems the usuals got their panties up in a bunch and are scurrying to find other sources to legitimize their irrational desire to have the proffesed "better" version. Lems are so the new cows... almost as funny as crysis 2 apologists.eNT1TY
