Another inferior PS3 multiplat, and it's 2009, what gives?

The only thing I saw from ign review by the one and only greg miller was that the fire effect is better on 360. Unless a head to head was put up since im not an insider no more I dont really know. This comparision from lens of truth is if you look hard enough youll find a problem. Also motion speaks more then still pics.

RE5 on PS3 was quite similar. The image wasn't as crisp. It doesn't make the game bad, but just disappointing that the image wasn't as sharp, ya know?

isnt the differences that IGN stated only limited to the fire char effects on walls and the marshmallow (staypuft?) damage modeling was more detailed on the 360 version

This is how i look at it:

Multiplats: 360>PS3 in most cases

Exclusives: PS3>360 in most cases

That's been the truth in the beginning. Everyone has just been assuming it's going to change and waiting for it, but it hasn't happened.

Thats a really lame excuse and it needs to stop.

Why should some relatively small-time studio have to hire extra staff and spend more time and money on developing and optimizing for the PS3,all the while achieving the same end on the 360 consumes significantly less resources?

Not only is that uneconomical,its just totally illogical imo.

Yeah, I looked at the link. It is super blurry. Too bad for PS3-only owners, especially those Ghostbusters fan. :( This game is doing good in reviews.

From what the one and only greg miller says yea. The lens of truth seem to take still pics and focus on it. I mean im not going to stare hard into the floor or zoom into the proton pack 30 minutes. Doesint bug me. Im still gettingthe PS3 version.

blame the developpers not the hardware, there a tone of games that look better then that one on both the 360 and ps3

doesnt the ps3 version come with the frist ghostbusters movie on the disc too.... id check it out but i already have both movies on DVD

im not saying thats a bad idea, im just saying that he already believes all multiplats are inferior on the ps3, which i agree for the most part is true but if the only factor to buy one version over the other due to better textures or better shading without considering the other version pro's is to me ignorant

im not trying to defend the ps3 or anything like that, i only own a ps3 and i know most of the multiplats are superior to the 360 in many regards but im still happy with the ps3 version as long as its a decent game to begin with but its not if i did have both i would buy a multiplat because it looks better on the 360... most likely i would buy that version due to most likely having a bigger online comunitee and alot of my friends have 360's

but yea cant get worked up over what someone saying on the internet about a game and/or system....

i really want my ps3 back :cry:

No I click on TC link and it gives me the sites comparison. It also give me meticritc and its 78 to 79. Doesint say every review site says it wins by a landslide like you were stating.

first off im completely aware that its all up to the person looking at the game to make the decesion on which one looks better but since you said, I will never buy a PS3 multiplat, ever, I don't like paying full price for an inferior version when I can get it on 360 or PC.

trust me, the only reason i have a ps3 as it is is because it was an xmas present, im really really happy with it and im glad sony updates the system with features it comes out with but sometimes i wish i had a 360 not so much because of the multiplats looking better.... but theres just more online players on LIVE, but the other things about live like netflix and the avatars i can certainly live without, so yea i can see where alot of people are coming from when they talk about LIVE

I love my ps3 but this ghost busters version looks terrible. By the way whats a cow? sorry about the noob question :P. Plus if everyone thinks sony has such good looking games just because they spend lots of money in development why dont microsoft do the same? Im pretty sure it would have something to do with sonys hardware.

I know 360 multiplats look better than PS3 versions 95% of the time, but this is on a whole different level. It reminds me of how superior games looked on the original Xbox compared to their PS2 counterparts.
