It has? I just mentioned it because Jeff Gerstmann said it didn´t had it on in the ME2 QL.The demo didnt have it, but I think I read on DF that the final game does have V-sync. Anyways from the pics on LoT it looks like a tie to me, I like the look of the PS3 version better. The 360 one just looks too dark, and the price is much better on the PC and 360.

no though i know the ps3 fanboys will want to take this minuscule number and run with it acting like its a big deal. im just saying that it means nothing, but like thats going to stop any fanboy from trying to claim otherwiseBioware are full of baloney when they say it's using the Mass Effect 3 engine. If it were using a new engine they'd have had to rebuild the entire game from scratch. Instead they've made a couple of tweaks to the same old engine and for whatever reason have decided to call it 'the Mass Effect 3 engine' when it CLEARLY isn't. Ninja-HippoLook at the bright side, they convinced cows to buy their game at full price. lol
Cows were tricked by Bioware so they would buy the game. And now that reviews have come out and the truth has been revealed, they're tricking themselves.
Keep the DC coming.

Good for the PS3 owners as they won't have to worry about it being inferior to the 360 version.
So same graphics and all the dlc, pretty easy to see its the best console versionTintedEyesyeah the 360 version you can get it and all the DLC available on the ps3 version for 45 dollars.
quick edit for ya the 360 version gets the comic as well and if you install the 2nd disc you dont need to swap discs.Let's compare.
Xbox 360:
- Two disks; must disk swap twice during the 25-30 hour game.
- Negligible Better performance. (according to Digital Foundry)
- Negligible Better graphics. (according to Digital Foundry)
- No DLC on disks.
- DLC available for download on XBL.
- Can import ME1 character.
- Total Cost with DLC: $44 ($20 for original game, and $24 for the DLC)
PS3:
- One Disk; 5.2GB mandatory install. Wait time aprox. 30 minutes, though results will vary from user to user.
- DLC included on disk.
- No importing of ME1 characters; has 15 minute comic to condense a 30 hour game.
- Total Cost: $60
Conclusion:
- Both versions are damn near identical.
- Xbox 360 version is cheaper.

[QUOTE="broken_ops"][QUOTE="TintedEyes"]So same graphics and all the dlc, pretty easy to see its the best console versionTintedEyesu dont get me1 and u had to wait a year for the 2nd game. what are u happy about?? because i got the better console version really I got all the ME2 DLC when it was 200 MCSP Each I got all the special DLC from preorder and dragon armour and such..... So I got The better version then... I LOVE LOGIC :D
So let me see if I understand properly. Lemmings are claiming ownage cause they are equal and its cheaper for them, cows are claiming ownage cause its all on 1 disc, hermits(thats pc guys right?) are sitting back laughing at them both, and true gamers are just glad the game can be enjoyed by everyone... am I close? I dont see many cows here, I guess they are to busy playing games or working overtime to pay for all those games coming out soon( :P )
On a side note, anyone else impressed they actually made a game on the ue3 engine equal on both sides?
Just a question: I noticed someone on youtube mentioning that since the cerebrus network wasn´t on at that time he couldn´t download the comic.
So,in order to get that comic, you have to be online? What about the people that don´t have the console online, they don´t get the comic then?
I´m just mentioning that because most people I know around here never connected the PS3 online and some don´t even have internet...that must be a bummer to those guys if they get ME2 on the PS3...

I was just repeating what Lense said. as for the comic it was released about a week or so before the ps3 retail release on the cerberus network. As for Lens they must have been wrong on that then, Bioware themselves said that even with an install, disc switching needs to happen.
[QUOTE="theuncharted34"][QUOTE="soulitane"]
Why does it say the 360 version does 1080p but not the ps3 version? If it means upscaling, don't both consoles upscale?
soulitane
it doesn't upscale on the ps3 version.
Every xbox 360 game upscales to 1080p automatically. This isn't the case with ps3 games, they have to use up a bit of performance to get it upscaled. Which is why alot of developers just stick to native :)
Oh I thought they both upscaled every game :P Even then though, the 360 doesn't really run at 1080p :P Neither games run at 1080p. Most of the games on both the 360 and PS3 run at 720P or 640. Both systems are capable of native 1080p as well.I still don't get how it's a tie.
Equal versions don't:
Some of the images look better on the 360, others on the PS3. I'm happy that people who only own a PS3 could finally go to the store and pick this game up, it's a great game and it shouldn't be missed by anybody. If the PS3 version came out a year ago with ME1 as DLC I would have bought it over the 360 version due to the fact you don't need to swap discs but as it stands the comic looks to be a crappy substitute for the first game and I like the import feature the 360 version has.
I think the ME3 comparisions will hold more relevence because this game came out a year later on the PS3 so obviously it's going to look better. Until then it's pretty useless to argue over.

Tbh I really am not sure why they marked the game down for a couple of bugs when it had all the dlc thrown in from the get go. Its the same game is it not, surely it should get the same score? Hasn't it already had a patch for the bug in the DLC too?
