UC4 characters and animations, while not looking as good during gameplay as in cut-scenes, are still among the best along with RotTR. Ryse has nice characters too.

Star Citizen since it's a massive online game for thousands of players in the same instance uses Tier 2/3 avatars.

Graphics generally take a hit in that genre because of all the other things going on requiring large amounts of time and resources from the development team. Take a look at character models from Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. Highly praised games with doll-like characters. Uncharted's levels are basically very pretty and well decorated hallways with less characters to model, less world to build, and less story to tell. I get your point but its a bit of a push calling Mankind Divided "open world", they have large hub areas yes but rarely are they open spaced or bigger than 500 metres across,
Spent 11 hours playing it yesterday and i have yet to see anything i could call open world.
Sorry, I guess "open world" is the wrong term. The world is a lot bigger with more people, places, things things in it. Studios of around the same number of people were given a similar amount of time and budget to create both games, give or take. In that time, for Uncharted they had to make a dozen or so characters, whereas MD has hundreds of NPCs that needed to be modeled.
This is not meant as a knock against either studio, just different genres prioritize different things.

They never fail to astonish me. I was playing TLoU tonight, and the details they pay attention to is incredible. When Joel first gets his gun (in the prologue to protect Sarah), he actually removes bullets from the box individually and puts them in the chamber. You don't even NEED this much detail, nobody would care or even notice if they weren't looking, but they do it anyway. It's like pride of craftsmanship.
Naughty Dog really does make everyone else look like amateurs. Well, mostly everybody. I find all aspects of their presentation to be easily some of the best work out there, if not the best.
Too bad they fail most of the time in the gameplay department.
I'd be more willing to agree for the Uncharted series, but TLoU had excellent gameplay that I've gone back many times, skipping the cinematics, to be able to play.
I already defunct all of this with gpuking, Lara Croft's in game model is unquestionably better than Nathan Drake's.

TLoU had decent gameplay. It still had issues with stealth and buggy enemies, but it was certainly a lot better than Uncharted.

Lara Croft's in game model is better than Nathan Drake's by a fairly decent margin, as I said to gpuking before he got banned for shitposting, prove me wrong, post the best of Nathan Drake you can muster, IN GAME.

Seeing Deus Ex Mankind Divded bringing rigs to its knees despite having mannequins trying to pass off as characters is laughable. The animations are stiff, facial expressions and animations are worse than Uncharted 3 and characters just don't convey the sense of realism and polish the ones in Uncharted 4 do. For all its shortcomings, nothing comes close to Uncharted 4 when it comes to producing and animating characters to make them look and feel life-like.
No amounts of processing power can replace talent so cut the bullshit with your SLI 1080 rig. Won't make animations better and won't increase polygon count.
So because UC4 has great facial animation, and Mankind Divided does not, this is an argument for the PS4? I dont get it.

Too bad Uncharted 4 is the most technically impressive game on console. Not only does it look great it raises the bar in game aswell. The attention to detail is unmatched. Also the gunfights are the most intense I played in a video game, something you haters wouldn't appreciate.

The only difference is visual effects. The character models themselves are exactly the same throughout. Cutscenes just add polish. Your phony comparison wasn't even sensible. One Drake is wet, one Drake is dry. One Drake is from faraway, the other is in close up. The video itself is low res and the ps4 has weak draw distance.
Both Drake are wet. So much so even DF called out Naughty Duds on this bullshit PR teaser. Keep up the DC.
@MBirdy88: Curious but have you played it? It's an outstanding TPS. The shooting and platforming are great, the level design is outstanding and the pacing is pretty much perfect. If you hate these types of games then UC4 won't change your opinion but saying it's an awful dull game just shows you have no taste for the genre.

I'm recording the game at 2560x1440 with the maximum possible settings enabled with the best possible capture quality for the video, it's not going to run smooth trying to record something like that.
