no, any game on more than one platform is not exclusive, its multiplat. BioShock is multiplat, Kane and Lynch is multiplat, Halo 2 is multiplat, CnC 3 is multiplat. K?

Now that Vista has Xbox Live you can expect most games to be on both platforms. Personally I always liked the term console exclusive.

Yes they are. If you can't play it on the PS3 which is what all fanboys care about then yes you should include it as an exclusive.

i say yes.  only because PC hasnt really gotten many big games like Doom or Half Life (2004 was awesome) and all i ever see for it is Railroad Tycoon...  i see a game coming out for the PC as a way to include hermits on the fun that console users are having.

Well here's how I see it.

First off games where Micrsoft Studios are involved like Gears, Halo etc... those games are exclusive even when ported to PC because A) it goes to the PC years after (Halo 2) is still not on a PC and that right there does not make a bump in sales really to go down and B) Microsoft gets money for any game that is sold if they are putting money into the game.

It's the same with all investments be it paying for the game and/or P&A. As an investor you money on every game sold unless there is a agreed upon limit like let's say after 3 Million copies sold the investors are out for example.

And besides that, I always see debates over the three consoles in sales and game sales from the consoles. If you're gonna bring up PC as part of everything then you better start bringing it up more in posts cause mostly you see 360, PS3 or Wii comparison in sales. I think the exclusivity is about consoles cause I think of PC gaming as something different all together IMO.

PC does count r-tard. While you may not want to get one (a PC), other people do and they can play games there. Bioshock is not 360 exclusive.

So just because its pricy it doesn't count? You guys are unbelievable! The thing could be a billion bucks and it would still be multiplat with a $10 that has the same game.

We can say that games that are on the PS3,Wii, and PC but not on the 360 can be call exclusives to their respective console.

Who cares? Better for 360 because it will have more games! MORE AND MORE GAMES! :D I'd rather have a system that plays a lot of multiplats and exclusives (and console exclusives) rather than a system that only plays multiplats and a couple of exclusives (ps3).

Due to the recent ramblings on another thread about if a game on the PC and the 360 should or shouldn't be considered a "console exclusive" to the 360, we might as well have a vote on this matter. So SW, what do you believe is the right answer?Ezgam3r

There is nothing to debate here, you CAN play those games if you have a 360, you CAN'T if you have a PS3, it is that simple really, PS3 is garbage as far as pc games go, onw of the best things 360 has is pc games, looking amazing and for just 300$ !!!! no extra frustration involved too

hmm the fanboyism is strong with these ones... this is system wars guys, pc is a system. the only reason people say they are exclusive is to make their sad exclusive list look better lets be honest about this. ps3 gamers dont include pc games in their list, and neither do wii owners even though theres no reason for sheep to but hey.

Man, this forum really sucks, I have to tell you. Logic gets slaughtered every second in system wars.

There are more people that own PCs capable of handling Alan Wake than people that own 360s.

There are hundreds times more people that own PCs than 360s.

Anyone that says that Alan Wake is a 360 exclusive needs to get striked by natural selection on the spot.

If a game has more then a 2 year time console exclusive, then yes. Gears might go to PC in 5 years and cows claim it's not an exclusive. With the PS3 small user base some dev and pubs might look toward the PC also.

So you're willing to use reverse logic and state that Half-Life 2 is still a PC exclusive despite it coming to consoles 2 years later?

You call me a fanboy ? Only a fanboy like you would find having Oblivion, UT3.0, Two Worlds, Bioshock, Elveon, Overlord, Circle of Doom, Project Offset, Assaisns Creed etc on consoles a ...BAD THING !!!!!

All i know is, i can play a host of INCREDIBLE pc games on my 360, if i had a PS3 i would NOT BE ABLE TO !!! Now how the hell this simple fact is .... fanboyish is beyond me, care to explain ?

Fact is, if i could not play Bioshock and Alan Wake on my 360, i would be a SAD SAD gamer

Well PC's aren't consoles so Yes if it gets ported to the PC it is still a 360 Console Exclusive.

lol, agreed

Well it could be argued that the consoles are not competing with the PC, but the PC is competing with the consoles. In my opinion it's only really an exclusive if the competition doesn't get it. Because whether or not the competition gets it is all that really matters for people who care about this kind of thing.

You kind of just did an oxymoron. -_- Not competing with PCs........PCs competing with consoles. Uh hold on what? Most PC owners already own consoles. If anything, they are two entirely seperate markets like most people say.

Halo 2 is a PC exclusive. Can you play Halo 2 on a Mac, the PC's competition? No you can't. Lots of people don't put computer vs console gaming in the same category, because quite frankly they aren't in the same category. Sure it's all gaming, but two quite seperate markets. PC gaming is very very niche and caters to a market that looks for specifics that just don't ever happen on Consoles. How often are games ported from PC to Consoles? Almost never. Console to PC? Quite a bit evidentally.

Consoles are different from PCs just as handhelds are different than both. They are each in their own class. If Halo 3 came to handhelds or PCs I wouln't care because I would want the console version. IMO if it would be exclusive to one console, it's exclusive to that console no matter if it appears later on  PC/Handheld/PDA/Cell phone/Arcade and that is what it is.

Cool, so it works both ways, and all these games are PC exclusives too.

[QUOTE="Ezgam3r"]Due to the recent ramblings on another thread about if a game on the PC and the 360 should or shouldn't be considered a "console exclusive" to the 360, we might as well have a vote on this matter. So SW, what do you believe is the right answer?LabWarrior1

 Ohh fanboy logic...

Did I ever say that it was a bad thing. I think its great. Its just they're not exclusive to the 360 as its on the PC. So stop putting words in my mouth and calling ME a fanboy of all people.

[QUOTE="TrueReligion_"]Why would they be exclusive to the 360? That's like saying Halo 2 is a PC exclusive.Bgrngod

Halo 2 is on PC and Xbox, two different platforms, hence multiplatform; not PC or xbox exclusive, but multi-plat
