[QUOTE="bbkkristian"]I'm not mad Sony copied Nintendo, it just proves that they don't have their own ideas and that Nintendo is leading the innovation in the industry.meetroid8So Sony has never had an original idea? Yeah they have [their own idea]; I'd be willing to admit that. :P
EDIT: I almost fell into your trap :x lol trick question
Sheep want to whine about Sony Allstars when MS just stole Nintendo's casual market without warning ?
there are bigger fish to fry, this game Sony is copying is just fan service for Playstation fans, at least they're not stealing Nintendo's consumers.

Even though I'm a sheep, I gotta post this to help you guys out:
:P
1 complete different controls the Snes was a flat pad. 2)Joystick see Atari for that. 3)Rumble wasn't even a patent by Nintendo it was owned by another company who sue sony, nintendo and MS. 4)There were wireless controllers on PS1 from 3rd parties. 5)MS did motion controls before Nintendo even release the gamecube,it was call free style pro. 6)SNK did it before Nintendo so did Capcom as well,SSM did not invent mixing characters from different games,King of Fighters say hi..Nintendo comes up with the SNES controller -> Sony copies it with the PS1
Nintendo comes up with a joystick -> Sony copies the joystick
Nintendo comes up with rumble -> Sony copies rumble
Nintendo comes up with a wireless controller -> Sony copies wireless controllers
Nintendo comes up with motion controls -> Sony copies motion controlls
Nintendo comes up with a fighting game featuring it's most popular characters -> .....
Let's be fair though, they didn't steal the triggers from nintendo. They just didn't pick them up till another company did.....Now the wiiU, love it or hate it, is sure to be extremely innovative. Let's see what they steal there.

[QUOTE="TopTierHustler"]2)Joystick see Atari for that. That is correct. I remembered joystick controllers from the Atari 2600 (which used to be called the Atari VCS) years before I heard of the NES. I think that gamers need to be more educated on the history of video games instead of focusing on the last few generations. The history is quite rich and interesting and I am fortunate to see most of the early history first hand (experienced the fall of Atari, the video game crash, and the rise of the NES and modern gaming).Nintendo comes up with a joystick -> Sony copies the joystick

This whole "copying" argument has been smashed here time, and time again. No one cares if you can come up with some half baked idea, the person who actually makes your idea useful will be considered the innovator. Look at Gears of War, it didn't create cover based shooting, but it certainly gets credit for popularizing it. Therefore I couldn't care less if Nintendo came up with an idea that Sony improved because that is just how things work.
Everyday my Wii is like "emorainbo, please look at me! Touch me! Play me! Acknowledge my existence!"
And I'm like" **** cant you see PS3 and I are having a moment?!"
I still remember when cows accused MS of stealing the little big planet theme song and cows went batsh*t insane over it. It was funny but truly terrifying to watch especially since Sony doesn't even own the song. Now they seem find with copying. Times. they are a changin'
Actually, cows play the victim card the most on here. Cows are also the most rabbid/aggressive on here (along with every gaming community on the internet).[QUOTE="Chemical_Viking"]To think sheep play the victim card on here so often.StrongDeadlift
Coincidentally, Sony has had the MOST negative press/negative ammo against them out of all 3 companies this gen.
and lems are the most hypocritical on SW.You guys want some cheese with that whine? Seriously, cry more.

All I can think about is Gentlemen Cho'Gath from LoL
Anyways back on topic, it's not like Nintendo has copied anything from anyone  the hypocrisy of people now and days.
Someone needs a quick lesson on Vocabulary words
Copy:
Emulate:
Sony doesn't copy, they emulate. No different than any business that hopes to be successful (competitive) in their respected field.
Nintendo Makes:
[QUOTE="TopTierHustler"]
They also stole trophies, triggers and the home button from M$....
What have they come up with by themselves?
PolygonBust
The PS1 had triggers....
Trophies are different from achievements...
The PSP that was released in 2004 had a home button...
No they aren't. Who are you trying to fool?
Nintendo makes an analog stick controller, Sony makes a better dual analog stick controller
Nintendo makes a rumble pack attachment, Sony makes a better built in rumble pack
Nintendo makes a wireless controller, Sony makes a better wireless controller
Nintendo makes a motion controller, Sony makes a better more accurate motion controller
Nintendo makes a all star game, Sony makes a better all star game.
They arent copying, they are improving.
crimsonman1245
LOL
It happens, companies copy ideas from eachother specially if its something that will generate profits :)
However i'm glad Sony did it and got into the Gaming Business, cause we got the PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP & PSV... some of these systems may have sold less than what Nintendo offered but all Sony's sytems had great gaming libraries which millions of gamers enjoyed...
