Let's settle this - Gears 3 vs U2. 56K

From what I've seen of both, they are honestly very similar. Cows just need to admit it. On that note Crysis 2 is amazing. The first time I saw that build crash, my jaw dropped. VERY realistic, and the scale is amazing.

I'm going to say equel, but U2 is a lot more appealing. Geow is same colorless made of rust world, altough this time they got vegetation look like vegetation.

I know haters gonna hate but lets be real,Crysis 2 just says HI! :P

Me to...lighting is phenomenal.Than again,this seems to be later build than that in daytime.You can see it...better particles and textures in general.They will probably tweak it.I mean...what is Crysis without amazing day time? :P

Just because the tc decided to be biased and put ugly gears 3 shots besides a ton of UC2 bullshots shots I voted Gears to be better.

Difficult to say at this point. People who are saying either game wins by a mile need to wake up. If any one wins, it's by a very small amount.

i voted when there were just 3 pics vs. 3 pics, and voted for Gears because in those comparative shots, Gears just showed better

course i come back and the TC has added like 3 billion Uncharted 2 pics

anyways UC2 is still imo the best looking PS3 game, it's really hard to top it, i'd say Gears 3 is pretty damn good looking regardless if it ends up beating UC2 or not

Hey hamzah(TehKillzonelova to all you folks not in the know), I was just wondering...if you're so confident in UC2's graphical supremacy, why bother going through the trouble of stretching small GeOW3 pics to larger sizes in order to diminish the image quality?

Hahahaha GCP...man you owned them...i KNEW there was something fishy about those Gears 3 shots which are not bullshot.Not only did they post UC2 bulls vs Gears 3 in game,but they intentionally resized it to look blurry.They should have gone with bullshot vs bullshot at first place,not bullshot vs in game stretched,resized...embarrassing...man damage control is hard these days :)

This is totally unfair.You are posting bullshots from UC2 and EARLY shots from Gears 3.Gamecubepad made GREAT comparison.Where they are both set in similar environments and it looked like much better comparison than this.Shame on you...they are about equal...

Yeah, "bu-but UC2 looks better in direct source shots"...so does Gears 3, but this way we know they're in-game shots for comparable sources.

Gears 3 will equal or surpass UC2 in image quality. Accept it.

I'll have some 720p side-by-side vids ready to roll in a while. No difference from the shots above.

unreal engine has gotten some significant improvements. example would be UT3 and then the UT3 demo in the UDK with updated engine
