Yeah, "bu-but UC2 looks better in direct source shots"...so does Gears 3, but this way we know they're in-game shots for comparable sources.

Gears 3 will equal or surpass UC2 in image quality. Accept it.

I'll have some 720p side-by-side vids ready to roll in a while. No difference from the shots above.

Yes and Gears 3 even with new multilayered shadowing,Global illumination lighting,better textures,better post processing and completely new foliage is just Gears 2 with colors :roll:

I think they are pretty much equal to be honest.

This thread fails...There was already like a 500 page thread talking about it. Gears of War 3 is clearly on par with U2, period. A bunch of fanboys saying "U2 by a mile, it destroys Gears" doesn't cange the fact that Gears of War 3 is on par. A thousand people could vote for U2, and two people could vote for Gears 3, but it doesn't change the fact that they look on par with each other.

I think big part of problem here is that TC posted UC2 promotional shots(bull...) and he posted early in game shots of Gears 3.But not only that...he stretched and resized them to look blurry...

The damage control is crazy. I guess they're preparing for the releases of Gears 3, Crysis 2, and Rage.

That does not matter.Going by that logic Game Critics gave award to RAGE,and that means more than GS award.Crysis 2 got 2 awards for gfx and 2 for 3D this year...thats more than KZ3...

If you're going to compare graphics, don't use bullshots of one game, and stretched out images that decrease the quality of the images of the other game. Sad damage control. Gears 3 must be a threat if someone has to do this.
