The day I opened my WiiU I was able to transfer my entire Wii library and game saves to the WiiU. You can't do that with the inferior X1 and PS4.

@Slimmin360: You do realize that the Wii U has been out for almost 20 months now right? Of course it has more exclusive games. The main problem with the Wii U is the last of memory storage and it's $300 price. Drop it down to $200, increase storage to at least 120GB and include 2 bundled games and then I'll take a look. The PS3/Xbox 360 is like $250-$300 with 120GB-500GB of memory and way more exclusive games to play. Come back in a year and then lets see what's on the PS4 & XB1.
Wii-U is capable of up to a 500gb external drive which i already have for it, the PS3 and 360's games are now as much as 6 years old and have been played out, any recent released mutliplats are on X1 or PS4 so that would be the logical choice, All Wii-U games are new not 6 years old and played out.
So comparing the PS3 and 360 to the Wii-U is futile, the Wii-U is capable of better graphics, and it has the expandable Hard Drive via USB or SD slot, and with the backwards compatibility of Wii games, No online fees and no mandatory game installs, it's a much better choice overall.
It can be up to 2 TB, actually.
People don't seem to get it still. Exclusives have nothing to do with it. If you are primarily a console gamer the wii u would be the last console you want. Sure you get to play Mario kart but you miss out on multiplats or get inferior versions that run not much better than the ps360. Exclusives are great and can be system sellers but EVERYONE plays multiplats. Nintendo didn't understand this and apparently neither do their fans. A wii u makes more sense to someone with a pc. You won't miss out on much. But as a primary console and gaming device most people will choose the PSBone.
People that are content with HD graphics will be satisfied with which ever multiplats Wii-U gets, games like Mass Effect 3, Black Op's 2 and Arkham Origins already look and play great on Wii-U, every bit as good as PS3 or 360 if not better,,,,Now pile on all of Nintendo's legendary 1st party titles and thats enough for most game fans to be swayed to a Wii-U, at least for now.
Gamers aren't swayed by last gen games from years ago that don't even run as well on WiiU. Try again.
Call of Duty Ghosts is years ago, don't think so, and the new Skylanders, is that years ago too...nope wrong again.
The Wii-U has current multiplats, maybe none you like but it does have them.
Ghosts on Wiiu sold so poorly they haven't released any dlc for it and Activision have stated there's no plans for Advanced Warfare on wiiu.
Practically every announced multiplat is skipping the wiiu. ME 3, Arkham Origins and the last 2 CoD's are about all the wiiu will ever get.
@Slimmin360: if you declare you hate something don't be surprised if someone questions it, especially when your reasons for hating it are ignorance.
Ignorance as in lack of knowledge about pc gaming.
A 360 controller works fine without any set up, plug in and play. Most games expecially ones console gamers would be interested in work better with 360 pad anyway.
Your pc can be hooked up to your plasma TV.
You can even set your pc too boot into steam big screen if you wanted, so it would be like booting to consoles home screen with no need for mouse and keyboard at all.
About knowing if you meet the requirements, with any decent card and cpu which you will have if you pay for a gaming rig will run all of today's games on high settings.
Also you get 60 fps.

And in my opinion thats cause for celebration, no more mindless shooters infecting yet another console...thank you developer and publishing men and women of the world.

Yet another point in favor of the Wii-U, and now you can even retrieve your account if you owned a Wii-U once before.

LOL you were just using the last 2 CoD's as good examples of the multiplats that were on Wiiu. You also used Arkham Origins as well yet Arkham Knight is skipping wiiu. The 3 biggest rpg's in the next year are skipping wiiu as well. No Dragon Age, Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor and looks like Assassins Creed Unity won't be on wiiu either. Maybe if Nintendo had made a proper next gen console things would be different.
You guy's have to face it, just as i did, i bought a PS4 too, but there are currently no phenomenal exclusives to play,
The PS4 is the fastest selling console in history. Over eight million gamers who have bought PS4s show that you are trying to pass off your own personal opinion as fact.
Sorry, but you are the one who has to 'face it'. Reality always wins over personal desires.
Nintendo has no one to blame but themselves for the situation they are in right now. Nintendo had years to prepare for their Wii followup console but they sat there doing nothing while the Wii fad started to rapidly fade and die off and Sony took back the worldwide sales lead they have had ever since.
Nintendo was overflowing with cash from their once in a lifetime Wii craze from the system attracting both gamers and non-gamers like no system before. They should have been aggressively channeling that massive influx of cash into preparing for their next console and getting their major franchises ready for launch on day one the instant the Wii started to falter in sales.
They had three years to do the market research that would have shown that the Wii U gamepad had none of the mass market appeal of the Wii Wimote. More than enough time and money to scrap it and come up with something better. Instead they showed up at the Wii U reveal conference and bombed with the public and completely failed to show why gamers and non-gamers would want the Wii U.
A year and a half since the Wii U launched Nintendo is finally getting the major mainline franchises that should have been ready day one for the console with the amount of time they had to prepare for launch.
Dump the expensive gamepad and sell the system for 200 bucks and eventually 150 and Nintendo will be a fantastic second console to gamer's PS4s this gen. The Wii U Nintendo exclusives are great but not 300 dollars great.

You forgot one major thing.......The Nintendo fun factor...Example...there is nothing better than playing multiplayer MarioKart with friends, fighting for the lead while dodging blue, green and red shells, being able to glide in off a turbo jump on top of an opponents head and knocking them out of the lead right before the finish, or drifting around a turn and getting that extra bit of boost you need to take the lead and close in on the finish line only to be struck by a lightning bolt, as the one who launched it, be it Mario, Yoshi, Peach or Luigi zips passed you and laughs as they take the win.
Only in MarioKart can these experiences happen and more, there is no other racer like it, and that goes for all 1st party Nintendo experiences, and you either love them or hate them, and as much as Sony has tried to copy certain Nintendo hits over the years like that Sony All Stars fighting, resembling Super Smash Bros, or Crash Karting or Sonic all stars trying to get that MarioKart magic.....None have come close.
It's not explainable but theres a certain feeling you get playing a Mario or Zelda, Pikmin, or MarioKart or Metroid that you cannot get from the other consoles that have all the generic shooters and sandbox games.
So you can argue sales all you want, those figures don't touch the never ending fun factor of Nintendo.
@gfxpipeline: i don't know about the rest of the world, but in the USA a lot of ps4's sold on hype alone. lots and lots and lots of tv ads. they didn't buy a ps4 to play killzone or knack or resogun, they bought one cause it was a cool techy thing to get. most people i know who have a ps4 now don't have infamous or killzone for it though. they play battlefield and mlb the show.
I'm not saying the PS4 doesn't have games, it has plenty of games
I'm saying it's like they're two different scenarios right now- you buy a wiiu to play the nintendo sequels that you can't on the wii, or you buy a ps4 to play the multiplats that you can still get on last gen consoles

If their fans don't care about multiplatform games, then what's the problem if the console doesn't have them?
