Little Big Planet is the best Game I have played this gen easily.

Never have I been addicted to a game so much then I am now.I have played all the big games this gen(Gears,Mario galaxy,Ratchet,ect...) but none of those games come close to being as good as Little big planet.I have played 10 hours so far and beat the single player mode and tutorial for making levels.The story mode was a blast due to the awesome levels and finding unlockables is fun.After watching levels on You-tube I thought the gameplay would be shallow and boring,but I was wrong.The gameplay is awesome and there are lots of things Sack boy can due.The creator system is easy and it makes creating levels fun.Im having all this fun when the best part of Little big planet isn't even out yet....the online.Once the servers are up tomorrow im going to be able to play co-op and play brilliant levels created by other people.

What do you guys think?

TC, I'm glad to see you have played Great games like Ratchet, SMG, GeoW, etc. and still rank LBP so highly.

That's a fantastic recommendation, on top of the AAA scores it keeps getting.

People were doing that in the BETA. All there was were 1minute levels or some really short ones. I'm just stating what I experienced and how I felt about the game. The beta portrayed pretty much what to expect from the full game.

I've only played a bit of it so far (switching with my roomate between this and fable 2) but while I think LBP is a good game, we're wanting to play Fable 2 more so.

It's a good game, but it's not that good.

I played a few epic 5-10 minute levels in the beta, so I guess you weren't trying hard enough, and considering what a small amount of people it had compared to how many there will be in the full game, its pretty ignorant to go based on that entirely.

I agree its certainly the most fun I've had this gen, I had 3 friends over on the weekend, and the smiles and laughs were endless, from failures, to success, every moment was pretty memorable, the story stages, are amazing too, some really innovative level design, the mini-stages you unlock are pretty crazy too.

The controls or "floaty" jumps as some people call them, might be true when you first play around for a bit, but you get used to it pretty fast. I don't personally see any flaws with the game, great sound, great graphics, a lot of fun, fairly deep level editor, large supply of great online stages, what more do you really need?

I just beat it a couple days ago, I had some good fun with it, but it was just incredibly too easy, and some things lacked even in comparison to Fable 1, but it is a lot of fun.

I solely found the beta boring after a while. Just my personal preference of my experience with the game. I feel that those who aren't fond of level editors(Or games that live off of creating levels and such) to watch out for this one...I find them boring after a while(which is the reason why I think forge isn't fun to use.).

To each their own I guess.

Oh no. LBP is easily one of my favorite games ever made. I've already played a lot of community levels in the beta, and now I get to play the fantastic levels by Media Molecule. Can't wait to upload my 2 levels when the servers go live.

If you're like me, you're going to get frustrated at how complex it is at first. You'll just have to tinker with it for awhile and then you'll have your moment of where it just clicks, and you get totally hooked. The singleplayer is a great way to get inspirations of what to make.

Well i got both fable 2 and lbp and fable 2 was good but a little bit of a letdown (as usual). Lets just say i let my friend borrow it and i still havent beat it. Im having fun with socom and lbp at the moment.njean777

meh - if you don't like platform games this isn't for you. simple stuff.

personally i find it interesting, and would like to get a ps3 again to play it - but i won't until it's far cheaper than it is now.
