If this is all cows want then Sony might as well just reskin games like Doom 1 with KZ and Uncharted graphics and call it a day. The next GT game should be a simple reskin of Daytona USA. Obviously you guys dont care about the underlying gameplay.

That SMB3 level was painful to watch. So was the Sonic 2 one. Just because you dress up a game to look like a good game doesnt mean it plays like one.

Okay. Sure.

The problem with LBP isn't the content, that part is completely covered. It's problem is the gameplay, and in an action game gameplay is very important.

If you have a PS3, sure. Otherwise lol no. It is a lot of fun, but the only thing it doesn't get beaten at by some other game is its level creator, which is hard to use and Media Molecule took down most of the best levels anyways. Blabadon

BTW is LBP is better than Rachet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sonic, Sly Cooper platforming games?

I can't disagree with this statement enough. I thought both LBP games were mediocre at best and the user creation stuff didn't do much for me.

It's a excellent series for what it is, definitely the duo to get if anyone is even remotely interested in a PS3. But as a platformer alone, it's sh*t compared to the heavyweights (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Rayman Origins, etc.).

As a platformer Littlebigplanet is god awful. I mean just look at the videos you posted. Yeah the people that made those levels got the visuals right and they're nice tributes to the games they're based on, but the actual gameplay is god awful. Littlebigplanet has HORRIBLE platforming controls. The creativity possible with the user creation stuff is great, but it means nothing if the controls are so bad it's near impossible to make a platforming level actually worth playing. The excuse for not fixing the controls in LBP2 was because they needed to make it backwards compatible with LBP1. What's LBP Vita's excuse? It has none, and it's just do frustrating to see this franchise not get the basic platforming right. If they just revamped the controls of LBP there would be great potential for a game with not only great user creativity, but also great platforming gameplay. I just do not understand why they continue to keep the same crappy controls.

I hate Little Big Planet. I hate the second one even more. Overrated crap. The Sackboy character is cool but the games floaty control kills it. The first games soundtrack was the best part about the game.

I think Modnation Racers is the better game in every way in Sony's casual building games. Little Big Planet to me is not even average because of the piss poor control. It can't hold a candle to Mario and Rayman Origins is better tha them all.
