Do yourself a favor if you have a 360 or PS3 or computer. But prefer a console. Play it for a while then go feel the air coming out of the vents, it's always (after system has been on of course) hot. Pretty damn hot. This is common, bud.

Which is precisely why it is never recommended that a console or PC be placed in a cabinet or box of some sort for long periods of time. When at a trade show, they do this to prevent theft, so until people start playing these at home in living rooms there's only baseless speculation about heat. I imagine both run "hot" but it won't be an issue because they won't be in 2 foot x 2 foot glass boxes running for 12 hours.

Cboat has no proof to back this up. Nothing. You can replace the X1 in his story with the PS4 and then it is more believable since all the reports are about the PS4 overheating.

Already confirmed PS4 runs cooler than most reliable PS3. CBOAT is correct on most rumor except Prince of Persia, obviously because Ubi does not want to overshadow two big next gen game. Are you crying?

MS compromise console with 6% upclock in attempt to compete with PS4 40-50% power advantage. Also throw together cheap pc part and poor esram bandaid. Lemming having to hide poor xbone design with huge console box and kinect and power brick because of shame but still deal with RROD 2.0. Why big case and fan if reliability is still poor... TLHBO
