Europe is a very different place from the states. it's a much older place. they have stuff in their commercials and stuff in their street kiosks we would never allow. Europeans wouldn't immediatly jump on the sony ship from this, but they wouldn't take it seriously. they shrug at stuff like this.Mordred19

I'm a PS360 supporter, aka Cow/Lemming hybrid, and I still thought the ad sucked. Bad taste is just bad taste, even if it's in your own backyard.

I liked it, very art student, I'm sure there's some higher morals I missed in that one. But still, the 360 gun fight commercial is the best.

the gun fight was excellent, but it was a copy of another commercial, non the less, it was great

I'm deeply into film too, and that's the exact reason why I hated it. It lacks freshness and more importantly a memorable or marketable point. Seeing a parade of TV/movie cliches does not stimulate me, nor does throwing in desperately offensive and outrageous elements impress me one bit. For one who has seen it all, this ad is very faux-hip.

You know who's a good director of commercials? Gondry. Get him.

 Its essentially implying an alter world (related to their slogan) where everyone can find something that caters to their needs. Granted, its an acid trip way of getting there, but it works.
