[QUOTE="ionusX"][QUOTE="hardmicro"] That doesn't mean anything. For example, The NEXT GENERATION Call of Duty games have been running ON A LAST GENERATION ENGINE lol. Your point is irrelevant ferret-gamer
actually it does.. it means that no matter how hard they push the engine it wont require next-gen hardware. products 5 years old can max out unreal engine 3 games at their finest 6 years is well within reach too.which is why 6 year old hardware plays codmw3 at 30fps at the same quality as the pc meanwhile a basic mahcine today can do almost the exact same task at much higher fps.
saying starwars 1313 will be ultra demanding and hardware taxing is like saying that doing grade 1 level math is hard for you.. then again i have a funny imagination about what you were like back in school..
hardmicronobody's answer to 2+2: thomas jeferrson sucka!
Can you show me what 5 year old PCs can run Samartian? I hate to break it to you, but just because some products run on the same engine does not mean they are similar graphically, or require the same power. Unreal 3 is not the same engine from 2005, it has advanced quite a lot.If you talking about the video, well anything with a graphics card, if your talking about real time redering, well you'll need 3 gtx 580's to do that (roughly about the power of 30+ xbox 360's or PS3's).
If your asking what you need to run games at console capabilities, well anything from an Nividia 8800GT (released November 2006) onwards will do that
