You wany to know what I loath? I loath SNOBBY PC elitiests such as yourself. I loath hermits who have their noses so far up in the air, their head falls backwards and off their shoulders. Realistically, HOW many people out there right now have the hardware to run Watchdogs and Star Wars. We are talking about a very small percentage of PC gamers being able to run those games. So yeah, there are PC parts out there now, that can run them, BUT not many people will have the parts to do so. Also, I guess going by console logic, a PC becomes next gen, every time hardware is upgraded. LOL so if you're a PC gamer, I guess you can start your own next gen at any time, BUT you have to wait for a console's next gen, nefore you start to see TRUE next gen games taking advantage of the advancement in tech, as Watchdogs and StarWars CLEARLY fall into"nexf gen" games as suchhardmicro

Sure they run on PC, they are all prototypes of the games that will come for consoles at launch in late 2013 and forward

For example Agnes demo is a glimpse of what FF15 on xbox 720 and PS4 will look like

PC is where all games are made anyway, showing a game on PC does not mean it will appear on PC

FF is console only for example, Gears 5 will be the same etc

loosingENDS
All the games that were showed on PC will be released on PC....

To run games which the console manufacturers haven't signed off on requires dev kit consoles which are fantastically expensive and rare. A high end PC is just more economical.

That doesn't mean anything. For example, The NEXT GENERATION Call of Duty games have been running ON A LAST GENERATION ENGINE lol. Your point is irrelevant

I think the reason why The Last of us looked so good was not just the graphics itself. But the animation, the environments, and the small details that most other devs would have dropped, like the blood coming out of his nose as he is getting hit, the facial animation. The voice acting and audio also completes the package.

And if The Last of us was shown using a PC...it would have been too awesome to look at :-).

actually it does.. it means that no matter how hard they push the engine it wont require next-gen hardware. products 5 years old can max out unreal engine 3 games at their finest 6 years is well within reach too.

which is why 6 year old hardware plays codmw3 at 30fps at the same quality as the pc meanwhile a basic mahcine today can do almost the exact same task at much higher fps.

saying starwars 1313 will be ultra demanding and hardware taxing is like saying that doing grade 1 level math is hard for you.. then again i have a funny imagination about what you were like back in school..

How am I supposed to respond to this? Nothing you said was relevant to what I said. You said: "especially when you consider that starwars 1313 ran on UE3 the same engine used by UT3, R6V2 and singularity which are f--k OLD" I said: "That doesn't mean anything. For example, The NEXT GENERATION Call of Duty games have been running ON A LAST GENERATION ENGINE" That's all there is to it.

Of course it does. You have to be on the drugs if you think otherwise.

And you just have to be a delirious fanboy to think anything on PS3 is going to look better than a multiplat on PC.

Don't you know? PS3 games run on glitter and magic! Especially at E3! Sony would never show a PC build or a pre-rendered video and pass it off as gameplay, no. That would neeeeeveeeeer happen.

LOL its a conspiracy! PS3 games shown were not running on PS3's, they were being played out of thin air! How could we have been tricked so easily. Let me go get my tin foil hat for you, then we can get to the bottom of this!

Can you show me what 5 year old PCs can run Samartian? I hate to break it to you, but just because some products run on the same engine does not mean they are similar graphically, or require the same power. Unreal 3 is not the same engine from 2005, it has advanced quite a lot.

Yes, Microsoft also does it. The only platform innocent of cheating is the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race.

If you talking about the video, well anything with a graphics card, if your talking about real time redering, well you'll need 3 gtx 580's to do that (roughly about the power of 30+ xbox 360's or PS3's).

If your asking what you need to run games at console capabilities, well anything from an Nividia 8800GT (released November 2006) onwards will do that
