Longest You Have Ever Played Games For...

Ive been playing for like 5 hours now....

I feel like a failure for this long.....but I honestly have nothing else to do today....and I just got Orange Box which will keep my busy for a looooong time..

Team Fortress is so fun...but barely anybody plays it on the 360 :cry:

That was in my Diablo 2 days. Good times, good times.

i dont remember how long i played ... but it was for a really long time when i was playing diablo 2.humber_matus

It was just impossible to tear yourself away from that game.

Several summers for me. Sometimes I think, "maybe I could have done something more productive...", but then I remember how much fun it was.

yeah lol same i played HS for around 8 hours too, and i then viewed and watched all the content i unlocked. damn i love HS--its a very inspiring game.

I played Oblivion for 14 hours a day for 3 days when it came out. Then I cut back on my playing time, it took me 110 hours total to beat the entire game, the main quest and every single side quest.MGS9150

Same, i hired it out not knowing what to expect and i ended up playing it from when i got it (which was about 12 in the afternoon) to about 4AM.

I have achieved ultimate nerd status by lanning it up with friends for 2 days straight playing nothing but WoW. One friend went from Honored to Exalted with Kurenai for the Talbuk mount by doing nothing but grinding on ogres.

I played Oblivion for 14 hours a day for 3 days when it came out. Then I cut back on my playing time, it took me 110 hours total to beat the entire game, the main quest and every single side quest.MGS9150

I'm on 100 hours and I'm only 2 hours into the main quest :P

The longest would have to be 13 hours with oblivion. The only reason I stopped was because my 360 red ringed on me.

PC: WoW 19 hours straight and I once played WC 3 for 3 days but each day I had work for 6-7 hours and after work I just played tell I had to work the next day.

Console: Morrowind for Xbox and that was like 10 hours.

over the summer i got addicted to rainbow six vegas and played from noon till 4 in the morn for like the first week, with a few breaks. I had the highest rank on team deathmatch and was the first on ps3 to reach staff sergant... and damn proud of that

and then i got my life back together and stopped playing video games for like 2 weeks because i was so burnt out

I played WoW close to 18 hours a day when I first got it. I was off work and most of my friends were out of town. It was a dark time. I would literally wake up after 5 hours of sleep, and I was too excited to go back to sleep so I'd just play. Then I'd look outside and it was night time again.

It's scary how addicted I was, and it's not the first game I played for entire days. UO and Guild Wars both did it to some extent, and so did FF7 and Oblivion, though they didn't last as long. MMO's are easily the biggest time wasters ever conceived.

Wow. I've put in 3-4 hour Warhawk sesh's but I always try and tear myself away so the game doesn't get old.

That is impressive. I did the AB grind on my rogue from Friendly to Exalted over a span of 6 days or so. After putting in a week of 14 hour days (including an AB weekend) I was so burnt out I didn't want to PvP ever again. Guess what I did the next day? Started the AV grind hahaha.

God that game is awful... and amazing... but awful... and ****ing amazing.

I still think it's the best game I've ever played, and that covers a lot of ground.

Oh and how could I forget GTA. GTA 3 was my induction into the PS2 era, and I played that one a fair bit, but GTA Vice City and San Andreas reeeeeeally sucked up my time.

I actually quit my job to play GTA Vice City. It was a ****ty job and I wasn't going to stay there much longer anyway, but I was doing a particularly cool mission one day and I just said **** it, smoked dope and played for most of the next two days. GTA is my favorite console series by a long shot. There are plenty of games I love, but for some reason nothing compares to Grand Theft Auto.

What's really bad is when you're out with friends, girls, doing something that should be at the top of your priority list, and all you can think about is getting home to play some game.

I've missed out on plenty of drinking sessions because I didn't want to get too drunk and miss a raid (I've also lead raids drunk off my ass hahahaha, great times), and one of my friends recently skipped Thanksgiving dinner to raid.

I'm glad WoW isn't a big part of my life anymore. I love BC but it kind of overwhelmed me and made it easy for me to put it down. I do want to get my toons up to 70 so I can arena with my buddies, but it's definitely a good thing I'm not an addict. Put down the Warcrack!

Back in the good ol' days (SNES) - 24+ hours

Last Gen (PS2, XBOX, GC) - 5 hours...at most...only happened once

This gen (360/PS3/Wii) - haven't played longer than 3 hours...yet...games just not interesting or fun enough.

Just a warning.
People got killed trying to see how long they could game.

Truth. Some Korean couple neglected their baby and let him/her die playing some unknown game at a net cafe (my guess is either Starcraft, WoW, or Lineage).

Another guy in either Korea or Taiwan played some game for 50 hours straight and died. Not sure what the exact cause of death was, but his marathon session was to blame. I'll try and find a link and edit the post.

Luckily when I get really tired my body just shuts down and I sleep. I can sleep standing up if I have to.
