Yeesh! So soon? LOL. 8/10 thus far. That could change. Right now, I would describe the game as a larger scale of Salt and Sanctuary. That's the vibe I got from it. :) I wonder if my enjoyment is due to having low expectations for this game?

8/10 is pretty much what i expected this game being. Which, to me, is very high since i am NOT a fan of soulslikes that aren't made by Fromsoft. SaS is good, that sounds good to me.

1- Difference developer.
2- A developer that listens to feedback.
3- A much cooling setting than what the original had.
4- Animations aren't trash like they were in the first game.

ive read / watched so many reviews now it seems a very divisive game based on what's important to you in this genre i.e. not bad per se, more the collective combo of aspects you either enjoy or dislike will make or break it. it's got a mixture of souls and bloodborne mechanics, each with their own spin, for better or worse, and polarising level and boss design with what looks to be even more opaque side quests than fromsoft games (this is something im not crazy about).

but ive seen enough to want to try it out for myself. bit of a gamble but im happy to roll the dice when the price drops. may even get lies of p at the same time and play them side by side, or if that gets too confusing for my fingers, one straight after the other

I remember the internet rage Youtubers threw out when the WHO classified Gaming Disorder as a mental illness.

My only reaction was "Did any of you guys even read the actual reasoning?". Likewise, their criticisms aimed towards games shows a very hive minded mentality and weak analysis. There are a few exceptions who go into the nitty gritty. But most people have one job and they can't even do that properly.

Nothing as exciting as all that, unfortunately. What we have here is the classic case of someone who stops taking their meds, and then randomly accuses users of being other people, (who probably have active restraining orders against them).
