and what you get away with just saying it is so?
logic pro - cubase, reason
final cut - vegas
servers - pay $600 for the MAC OSX Server when you could just get bsd/linux. windows is better because it can run exchange... good for businesses
quicker - nope. why not add a SSD to your mac... oh... wait...
Firebird-5
err... Cubase and Reason are can be installed on Mac. Logic is exclusive.
Is Vegas better than final cut?
I already stated that linux is better than both. You don't need Exchange if you arnt using windows. A mac server has the equivilant.
And ah... yeah, why not add a SSD? or buy a mac that already has one?
the point was there is no reason to spend double just to get an exclusive program. these aren't games.
vegas is more or less the same as final cut. they both have their pros and cons. once again, no reason to spend double on a mac
i said windows was better simply because linux/bsd have webservers covered, and windows can run exchange. i have not encountered a business that ran whatever the mac equivalent is. how come i can sign into my exchange account on my iphone...? where is the mac equivalent?
if you buy a mac that has an ssd they will overcharge you. macosx is not inherently faster than windows 7. marketing ****
Wait... you said there was a problem with SSD on macs..., that is isn't quicker? You just fell back to the overpriced arguement? listen WE KNOW. we are talking about PERFORMANCE in things other than games here. Price isnt an issue if you are buying a mac.
Its not just exclusive software. Midi latancy is MUCH better on a mac, out of the box. Stock windows drivers are not useable. Custom ones are still lagging behind.
