[QUOTE="pimperjones"]Why on Earth would they any developer have to be made to retool a game from scratch, historically speaking all games are made once and them ported to each console with each console showing it's strength and weaknesses.
Lets face it Sony screwed up, not the devs.

I WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET MR. POINT. I'M SURPRISED HE'S SLIPPED UNDER YOUR RADAR!
Also, Sony screwed up because they have different hardware than the 360? What if developers jumped on the PS3 bandwagon and make games on that instead? Would that mean MS screwed up because they didn't copy Sony's hardware design?
It has nothing to do with different hardware RSX is WEAKER than the Xenos 360. Different hardware has nothing to do with it. What part of GPU and WEAKER don't you understand. Different hardware yes but even different hardware have classes, Nvidia and ATI both make GPUs with virtually identical performances. The problem is the RSX is a slower GPU than the Xenos, which is why Rainbow Six has lower texture, Splinter Cell has lower frame rate and no AA and so on and so fourth.
If both the PS3 and Xbox had GPU in the same class then there is no reason for any game to have lower frame rates or lower textures. Thats my POINT.
It has nothing to do with who's bandwagon the devs are on, thats just fanboy nonsense. The devs always wanna make the games look and run at it's optimal capability within the budget range.
Take a game like Virtua Fighter 5 the game was made on the PS3 and runs like butter, does that mean it's have lower textures and lower frame rate on the Xbox 360. NO because the Xbox 360's graphical core can handle it. Thats the point.
The RSX can't handle the same games the Xbox can and only via the CELL can it manage the same task which is not very practicle at this point in a conole's life span. Maybe in 5 years but not now.
