yeah I know, wtf is gamepur? but its all we really have to compare. X1 version of madden looks more colorful, ps4 version looks dark and dull.

As many people in the comments already pointed out, the comparison is stilted due to sun position change. Even when the author claims they are in the same place, they clearly aren't when you look at the shadows. I'd wait till DF takes a look as this article looks spotty at best.

Don't know and don't care really. Haven't played a Madden game in years. The differences seem to be minor at best, just like with Diablo 3.

no, the overall colors pop more on x1. ps4 looks dull and grey. same with last gen too. ps4 for some reason has a duller effect on its colors.

I always question if a new Madden is really worth 60-70 dollars from year to year improvements. I know if you wait a couple of years you will see a big difference, but I can't believe how religious some people are about buying these games annually.

Simple really. EA chose the Xbox as their lead platform and ported over to other platforms. They're tight with MS these days so it's not surprising.

Not the average pc. Min req on the pc's biggest exclusives of the year are well below the new consoles specs. Civ 5 min req is an 8 year old pc and Sim 4 min req is a gpu thats weaker than last gen consoles. Looks like the average pc gamer has a weak pc.

The lighting looks different. Could just be due to the sun being in different positions. Cant be certain until a better analysis.

Madden isn't really that great for a football game, the problem is that it's all there really is for NFL. I haven't liked any of the Maddens since the N64 version. I thought the helmet camera mode was cool back then, I don't think they ever provided that option since.

As a multi platform owner, I would say it completely depends on the game. Certain games I would only play on PC and vice versa. Some versions work out better on a particular system depending on what that system has that the devs took advantage of. If a baseball game took advantage of the Move for example, then I would say it has an advantage for people that like such over a mouse and KB...yet some games are much better with a mouse/kb.

To ask if anything is good on PC is a bit silly but technically Madden 08 was the last PC version.
