Here is another screen shot from the PS4 version. Looks like it is dynamic based on the position of the sun, the position of the camera and the cloud cover.
And the PS4 is still, and will always be, more powerfull than the xb1. While some unique cases may appear, PS4 will have the better version in general.

It kind of depends on the effect we want to go for. In a bright day time scene, absolutely, you get these really nice smooth shadows on everything, at night time when the light really is coming from all around you, you don’t get super crisp shadows in the real world, so we don’t have them here.

Don't have a clue, I don't follow the launch when I already have an Xbox One... There are some native language forums where I go to, and they got new Xbox One members, so that's a decent indication.

Why should I care about these things when I already have the Xbox One? If they sell really like shit and developers would drop the Xbox One, that would be a problem, but that isn't the case, so no I don't care about sales, don't have any MSFT stock so another reason not to care about the Xbox One sales.

Iss does have shadows it has been proven 100 times.
The only way the xbox one version can look better is if EA screwed up the ps4 version period is time you accept that a 7770 will never beat a 7850 oc period.

Dude you are the one that loss iss has shadows not all light sources cast a shadow which is different. But the game does have shadows which you say the ps4 doesnt get alone.
From there to imply that the ps4 has problems with shadows is a joke hell the xbox one has problems with shadows in thief i guess that mean the xbox one has problems with shadows as well.
Arguments like this make you people look sad in one side you claim that you admit the psr is stronger and in the other you try to implay the xbox one version look better and imply the xbox one is better with shadows.
