Yes it truly does better story better everything. I mean they got it all right the fighting system blows GTA away. The cover system for shooting blows GTA away.

The graphics:shock:Blows GTA away.

Story will blow all GTA games away.

Not to mention for those of us who played Mafia 1 on PC back in 2002 that game was amazing. Mafia 2 looks just SICK noway this game should get less thena 10. If GTAIV got a 10 well Mafia 2 is better in every regard so it needs a 10 PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look, I know it has better graphics and thats all that matters to you kids, but IMO GTA IV had an oscar worthy plot, excellent voice acting and a cast of interesting characaters that is rarely seen in videogames, let alone open world ones in this day and age. This is what really matters to me and for that, I simply adore GTA IV.

Saints Row 2's plot and characters are much worse than GTA4's (Though GTA4's plot isn't exactly amazing)

But the fun/chaotic factor trumps GTA4, especially in coop.

Let's wait and see. I think Mafia 2 will be an awesome game but it will have to do something special to overtake Grand Theft Auto.

360 and yes i know PC version will be best. I also know that the lack of AA in the console version is a tad downer. But it still looks real good on 360

i love gta and all and there are plenty of ways that it is better than SR2 but in pure fun factor sr comes out the winner.

Vice City will always be king. =)

I think it's best to wait and play the game before basing an opinion upon a demo.

What did you here bad about PS3 version? I assume another bad port with worse graphics compared to the 360 version?

I felt it controlled 100x better than GTA4. None of this walking around like a nub getting shot ... my character actually ran around aware he was being shot at.

Mafia 2 has some of the worst, floatiest driving I've seen in an open world game in a while. I like it, and may just buy it, but I hated the driving. Also, the cop AI seemed a bit jacked up imo.donalbane

I thought the demo was bad. But maybe it will be better than GTA4.

A compelling 'real' plot, much more realistic scenarios and game systems (and mechanics), and a singleplayer that was more about driving a tightly scripted story within an open world. The result is that it failed completely in that regard; it became repetitive, rinse and repeat and the plot fell by the waist side. Mafia 2 however looks to continue the tradition of the first, and from what I played in the demo it certainly is better. Only thing really missing at the moment is being able to fire a weapon while driving; however the detail of the game is absolutely stunning.skrat_01

Meh. The demo was decent enough but it didn't make me think "OMG I have to have this game now!". It's probably the kind of game I'll buy once it's been discounted.

Well yeah, for the PC and 360 versions anyways. But they'll knock off .5 from the PS3 version for missing grass and bad jacket detail.
