I am actually surprised. I love the game, but the 30 min previews they've done the last day made me think they were in the middle. He would be praising stuff at one point, then seem unsure the next. Great score, its what the game deserves.

I think Resistance 2 deserved a 9.0 the Cmpaign was solid (my only prob with it was the poor lighting) the co-op was unique and the multiplayer is a blast, rankedTDM is awesome on it!

Then people played the closed beta: Rough around the edges but its a beta; some lovers and some haters

Open Beta: OMG MAG suckz hard it won't even get A!!!11

Final Product: MAG is a great onlineonly multiplayer shooter.

Just like I've been saying all along. Of course that won't stop haters from continuing to hate. But oh well I wish I didn't have so many damn bills to pay right now or else I'd pick this up.

Tell me about it :cry: i would have picked this game day 1 if i didnt have to save as much money as i can for all the JRPG's coming in Feb :P.. 3 exclusive JRPG's to ps3 alone and heavy rain.. not to mention March :cry:

The game reminds me of Soldier of Fortune MP for some reason or another.

i must say..i was hating on mag for a long time because of the beta i played.. its looking like im gonna get owned with all these great scores its getting.. i should have never doubted zipper..makers of the great socom

I agree. R2 was solid. I really want a final Resistence to come out. A really fleshed out one. Glad MAG is picking up good scores, i had my doubts for it, probably buy when the price drops.

Edit: I always thought of this game in parallel with BC. And now that this review has confirmed it, i'm not thinking, 'hmmm...if i'm definitely getting BC2, do i really need this?'

i was expecting this game to be terrible. If it gets AA color me shocked. Still i dont like it.

Great score. I could tell he liked it eventhough he was fumbling his way though it and not really playing very well. Must be the FUN FACTOR!

Good score. I watched the three videos on MAG there. It looks fun, but I think playing Halo3 online is fun so what do I know. ;)

I'm guessing 7.5- 8.0 from GS. But if it's anything like the beta, it deserves no more than 6.5. I probably would've gotten this game if it wasn't for the beta. Ugh, it was horrible. (And no, I am not a newb.)

This isn't a Halo or CoD game.

Its pretty innovative for what it is, an online shooter hyped as an online shooter. The leadership abilities and large scale combat are definitely awesome things, while the strategic team play is much different from twitch shooters like Call of Duty. If anything it gets at least an 8 since GS gave ODST and Resistance 2, 9's.

Good score for those who have interest in it.

been playing it for hours today :S was supposed to do some studying :(

but anyway, I just wanted to say that i did a 256 player battle and it really was exciting! I thought it would be unorganized chaos but it was manageable :)

lol i remember when this game was announced at E3 and everyone was calling it such a megaton, lol, now some are gloating over a 4/5 stars AA rating. I guess we better watch out when it gets AA here at GS. :lol:
