Fact: Upscaling from 1440P gives a better result than upscaling from 720P and are not the same boat. You might want to learn how computers work.

All in all, I'd say unbiased that SONY is on a ROLL with over 1,000+ world class games to play on the current gen 8 most powerful video game console in the history of mankind.

I got to admit Sony's had mud on its face this last month. I don't think I'm even going get a PS4 Pro or Xbox S.

Hopefully MS decides to bring the heat next gen after the S. I'm tired of Sony's exclusives.

You forgot three big things in this list:

1) Sony changing their mind and not allowing mods on the PS4 or PS4 Pro. Mainly Fallout 4 and the Skyrim Remaster, but this decision will probably effect other games too.

2) Sony saying that in multiplayer modes, the PS Pro's framerates will be gimped/nerfed to stay the same as the original PS4, so that PS4 Pro players don't have a framerate advantage in multiplayer games. Considering I play almost exclusively in multiplayer modes, what's the point of even getting the more powerful PS4 Pro, when it's just going to be gimped/nerfed?

3) Adam Boyes leaving Sony. He had a very important role in trying to keep the Sony executives open minded about the platform, and I think was one of the key people that helped the PS4 be the success it has been. But now he's gone.

There is no denying that things at Sony are changing, and not for the better. They have had their run back in the number one position and it has gone to their heads. All of these bad moves just reek of corporate leadership being out of touch with gamers and it's making me want to run from the platform all together. Arrogant Sony is back.

I have both the PS4 and Xbox One S (and a gaming pc) so no fanboy here, and I actually have purchased more games in the PS ecosystem, however the PS Pro is not impressing me and more than likely I am just going to wait it out for the more powerful Xbox Scorpio. Xbox Live is a better ecosystem anyhow with more features, stats, security, and better servers.

PS4 fanboys have been rubbing the slight power advantage into the faces of Xbox One fanboys since day one. I would love to hear what the PS4 fanboys excuses will be when the Xbox Scorpio walks all over the PS4 Pro power wise. The power difference will be VERY noticeable.

Reality is the PS4 is in a way better position than Xbone is this gen. It's selling much better than Xbone and has more higher rated and more games than Xbone, you can't spin that.

I was pretty shocked myself. I expected the PSVR to be better then the gear VR by a lot but worse then the rift and vive, after trying it, it wasn't. Graphics are better then gear, but the resolution is worse which makes things way too blurry. remember this is a small like 5 inch screen sitting inches from your face and magnified. Resolution is important in the scenario

1) I'm aware of that. Live started at 50 and raised to 60 after 8 years roughly. It's been a paid service for 14 years now and had 1 price increase and is the top online service. PSN+ is a paid service for almost 3 years now and already got an increase. Live used to have a 2 year plan too for 85 bucks, i was on that plan up until about 2 years ago when they finally stopped supporting it.

2) Neither original console has one, I don't really mind the slim not having one either, but with the pro it's supposed to be a 4k Machine as sony markets it, and a premium product for high end enthusiasts, marketing your console as a 4k machine that can't play games or blu rays in 4k is pretty bad, only a hardcore cow like yourself would say otherwise. MS never marketed the XB1 as a 1080p machine. They didn't come out and talk about all games being 1080p and 60fps like Sony did (which lets face it, neither machine really did) Both systems upscale games. Sony doesn't have every game running 1080p. A majority yes, but not every game. And they don't really have any 1080p, 60fps games I can think of.

Not native is not native, doesn't matter the technique used. It's sad how hard you have to flip flop and damage control your little electronic device. I guess you didn't expect to have to eat your words so quickly. In tormentos fashion since you loved pointing this out, if the pro targets 1440p (which is likely) thats 3.69 pixels, 4k is 8.29 pixels meaning it has to find a way to add in almost 5 million pixels, while 900p to 1080p is adding in about .6 million. The more "faked pixels" needed, the worse the quality.

3) I never said it did, Depends on the games. But yeah lets talk about MC now and make fun of resolutions from 3 years ago to derail, the real isues

Also obviously you don't have a headset, I have a 500p for my PS4 and it requires the optical out. The USB dongle plugs into the USB port on the PS4 and the Dongle has a wire from it that connects to the optical out on the PS4. That's how most of the wireless PS4 headsets work, on the XB1, it's not needed, it's USB only

@darkangel115: lol except it's not really worse. The gear VR uses a lense while you just strap in the phone screen. The headset itself doesn't even have a built in screen. So your staring at it through a magnifier which tends to distort the image.

what do you think the PSVR does? It's a small screen 5.7", at 1080p resolution split in 2 (one for each eye so 960*1080 per eye) and magnified.

The gear VR is 5.5" screen (with an S7 edge) at 1440p resolution split in 2 (one for each eye so 1280*1440 per eye)

Are people still not even aware of the basic principle of how VR works? and yet still argue about it?

Do you think the PSVR can make a 5.7" screen look like a 50+ " screen without a magnifying lens?

@darkangel115: It's all about the distance you view the screen from. The PSVR, HTC Vive and Occlus have the screen built into the headset. The Gear VR does not, the Gear VR is the worst and that's pretty much undisputable.

I suggest you read some impressions.

lol why does it make a difference if the screen is built in or attached? That makes no sense whatsoever. It's still the same distance away, same size pretty much, and magnified by lens. I don't need to read impressions. i have a gear VR, I went to best buy and demo'd the PSVR and walked away from it pretty disappointed. In theory the PSVR should have blown it away. it cost 4 times more, has way more power when you figure in using the PS4 plus the additional processor the PSVR comes with, but instead it was a very sub par experience.
