Mario Galaxy is a joke

There are little kids comparing Super Mario Galaxy for GOTY to games like Crysis and Assassin's Creed LOL.

They also spaz out because it got an overinflated bias 9.5 and it's only a 8-15hour game. I played this game already for a couple of hours and it's a decent game (worthy of an 8 at best) but is wack and very easy.

So does SMG stand a chance for GOTY or are the little wiiboys/girls delusional?

Who else agrees that every Wii game is over priced at $50 considering their small budgets and shallow, bug ridden gameplay compared to the 360/ps3 high budget $60 games?

Also, is there any REAL adults out there who will play this and feel nostalgic about it or is this game geared towards little kids? This feels nothing like a Mario game (Luigi's mansion felt more like a Mario game) and will turn off any casual gamer.

back in the day 2 player platformers were possible but nintendo just through in some crappy little cursor for the 2nd player thats just crap they shouldnt even have put that in its so bad

HAHA! SMG was compared by PS2 standards like all wii games. If they compare any wii game to other 'next-gen' games it makes sense that most Wii games get a mediocre score.

no doubt of the last generation. Now MP3 (bore) and RE4 have been ported over to the NEXT GEN-eration (which didn't go anywhere for nintendo) which is really pathetic that they use old NES games and N64 games as a selling point.
