I still haven't played MVC3 because I knew they wouldn't be content with just that, then we got Ultimate MVC3, and I didn't bother there because I expected another updated version to come out and they didn't but I just didn't bother because you never know, with my luck I'd buy it then they'd like announce another. Anyhow, my favorite was MVC2, which I had on original Xbox and got when released on XBLA, so at very least when I grab my Scorpio that will be waiting for me there, might have a chance to get caught up on some MVC3 or maybe this time I'll just bite the bullet and get MVC4, pay for the update if/when it comes.

Don't understand why the Cows would think a Capcom + Disney affiliation would some how need to include Sony and Exclude MS. Sony's got nothing to do with either company except having bought rights to release a Spider-Man game from Disney and paying Capcom to NOT release SF5 on XB One.

Capcom's fighters usually sell well on the Xbox.

I'm not against having it on Xbone but since it's coming to Xbone that means the online user base will be segregated and probably few months after launch it will be hard to find people online to play with unlike SF5 now which it's online community still going strong after almost 1 year thanks to the cross platform online between steam and psn.

The XB One controller is superior to the piece of Crap controller the PS4 uses for every genre of game.

Don't forget to make sure to take a Dremel tool to your squeaky DS4 triggers so they stop getting stuck while you're at it don't forget to oil up those buttons so they don't get stuck either and hopefully the rubber on your analog sticks will still be there after a week of playing fighting games so you might want to buy some stick covers too.....

That logic makes no sense. One doesn't have anything to do with the other cause if someone only has an Xbox then that has no barring on the community of the Playstation's online community and vice versa. If it was only on the PS4 you think it would be so easy to find games with the low sales numbers it has being a cross platform game?

You also have to factor in the millions of people that would not have bought the game due to exclusivity.

Finding people on Killer Instinct is not a problem with Xbox One's smaller install base I don't see why it would be a problem for a PS4 game that should sell well.

You never see any fighting game tournament or champion using a controller, none. Evo everyone uses fight sticks and any other tournament that's seen players are using fight sticks. Only people you see using a controllers are guys that's eliminated in the 1st round. There's no debate that DS4 is way better than the DS3 but in regards to what I was saying, DS4 isn't better than the Elite on the PC or Xbox.

And it is common knowledge that Sony controllers are better for fighting games. That's why many popular fight sticks have playstation button symbols on them.

If it's a fight stick for the Playstation then of course it's going to have Playstation button symbols, you think a fight stick for the Xbox will have that LOL. That has nothing to do with popularity and give proof that many people perfer DS4 over the Elite, where are you getting that info from?

Sticks are not better than controllers it's a matter of what you grew up using, until recently Japan was dominating the fgc scene, and most of them grew up playing arcades which is why arcade sticks were their choice, but recently with all the new younger players who grew up with consoles appearing on the fgc scene lots of them are using controllers (lots of them use DS4).

Lots of the players using controllers were doing very well on Capcom pro tour, i think there was 5 or 6 guys out of 32 players at Capcom cup who were using DS4 or other controllers (heck one of the guys who made it top 16 was using Xbox 360 controller).

Ps. The number of sf5 players on ps4 is about 5 or 6 times the number of people playing it on pc.

Dude that isn't made by Sony, it's an arcade stick geared toward playing SF which is the most popular fighting game franchise and since it's exclusive to Playstation of course they would put Playstation symbols on it. People don't prefer Playstation fighting sticks over Xbox cause Sony doesn't make any so what are you talking about. That company can easily make that fighting stick for the Xbox if the game was out on the Xbox, Playstation has nothing to do with that.

Also, who was comparing a arcade stick to an Xbox controller? Nice try in trying to twist things around cause I said the DS4, I said nothing about an arcade stick to you. Show me where people prefer the DS4 over the Elite for fight gamers and stop trying to twist things around.

Sony's reason for not allowing it is the same as MS reason for not doing it last gen, lots of people buy their consoles based on what console most of their friends use to play online and, and Sony is dominating now so they have no reason to let go of one of their advantages.

The sad part is games with small communities such FGC are the ones who suffer the most.

The article is about fighting sticks but towards the end of the article they compare how fighting sticks fair against controllers. Hence the quote. They say that with the xbox controller is not even worth comparing because the controller is simply not designed for fighting games but they do compare the playstation controller. Now also more fighting sticks are created for playstation than for xbox because fighting genre gamers are on Playstation, that alone is a testament on how the controller is generally considered better.
