Lol it's funny to see fanboys flip flop like that.
Sorry but it's not going to happen. Capcom's licensing deal ran out and with Disney owning Marvel you won't see many crossover, compared to movie licensed games or the LEGO marvel games. If there isn't huge profit to be made, then Disney doesn't care. See the Infinity games that were scrapped for not making enough money for Disney despite them selling well and fans seeming to enjoy them. This news is busted!
Man. Way to eat crow bro :P
This looks cool! Bummed that Wolverine won't be in it, but interested in seeing characters from Gaurdians of the Galaxy!
UMvC3 is back up on PSN. Thank goodness.
And I just recently paid out the ass for a physical copy too lol.
I still haven't played MVC3 because I knew they wouldn't be content with just that, then we got Ultimate MVC3, and I didn't bother there because I expected another updated version to come out and they didn't but I just didn't bother because you never know, with my luck I'd buy it then they'd like announce another. Anyhow, my favorite was MVC2, which I had on original Xbox and got when released on XBLA, so at very least when I grab my Scorpio that will be waiting for me there, might have a chance to get caught up on some MVC3 or maybe this time I'll just bite the bullet and get MVC4, pay for the update if/when it comes.
They lost me at infinite stones. If that shit plays out like gems again, **** that noise.
Capcom is comparing it more to the Capcom vs SNK 2's groove system, which I'm down with:
http://www.gameinformer.com/games/marvel_vs_capcom_infinite/b/playstation4/archive/2016/12/03/two-on-two-fights-are-made-more-chaotic-by-infinity-stones.aspx
So are games that are on one console but not another but also on PC exclusive or not? Fanboys confuse me.
Also not buying because no Wolverine.
It's coming on Xbox One so all the Sony Fanboys that thought it would be exclusive can go to bed and cry.
You Sony Fans are really a bunch of Haters. So what if the Xbox guys get to play a multi plat game. How the hell does that hurt you if you get to play it too??
Don't understand why the Cows would think a Capcom + Disney affiliation would some how need to include Sony and Exclude MS. Sony's got nothing to do with either company except having bought rights to release a Spider-Man game from Disney and paying Capcom to NOT release SF5 on XB One.
@EG101: Lol playing fighting games with the xbone controller is the playing RTS games with kinect. It doesn't work, you look pathetic and you are a disgrace to gaming. TLHBO.
Have you tried playing SF5 on the dual shock, nothing to write home about. Just horrible.
Disney is VERY close with Sony these days. Don't be surprised if this is only PS4/PC again. And before you say no way remember Spider-Man PS4.
Isn't Spiderman a Sony owned property though? I know they struck a deal with Marvel to have him in Civil War and Homecoming, but my understanding is that Sony still owns the rights to the character.
It would honestly be a mistake on Capcom's part to make this PC/PS4 exclusive after SFV bombed.
Sony only has a license to the film rights. Disney/Marvel has the rights to everything else. SFV bombing had nothing to with with being PS4/PC only. Xbox One would not have saved that game. Another 200-300k would still be a massive flop.
If Marvel v Capcom 4 is real it will probably be another PS4/PC scenario. Xbox only owners prepares yourselves.

What makes you think the game would have only sold another 300-400K?
Capcom's fighters usually sell well on the Xbox.
I'm thinking another 2 million sales were lost for ignoring the Xbox users who like to buy a lot of digital copies.

Still 10 thousand times better than the xbone controller. TLHBO

How many fighting games have you played with the Elite controller, million times better than playing a fighting game on that crappy dual shock.
@BigShotSmoov007:
Capcom cup champion was using dualshock 4 yesterday
A fighting game champion was using a controller over a fighting stick LOL. In what world would he be a champion? People throw around that world champion too easily.
@EG101:
I'm not against having it on Xbone but since it's coming to Xbone that means the online user base will be segregated and probably few months after launch it will be hard to find people online to play with unlike SF5 now which it's online community still going strong after almost 1 year thanks to the cross platform online between steam and psn.

Grow up child.
The XB One controller is superior to the piece of Crap controller the PS4 uses for every genre of game.
Don't forget to make sure to take a Dremel tool to your squeaky DS4 triggers so they stop getting stuck while you're at it don't forget to oil up those buttons so they don't get stuck either and hopefully the rubber on your analog sticks will still be there after a week of playing fighting games so you might want to buy some stick covers too.....

That logic makes no sense. One doesn't have anything to do with the other cause if someone only has an Xbox then that has no barring on the community of the Playstation's online community and vice versa. Yeah it's easy to find games on the PS4 cause it's cross play with the PC. If it was only on the PS4 you think it would be so easy to find games with the low sales numbers it has being a cross platform game?
@Kashiwaba:
MS supports full cross compatibility with ALL platforms so if Sony doesn't that's not MS's fault.
Why should MS be punished for another platforms policies??
You also have to factor in the millions of people that would not have bought the game due to exclusivity.
Finding people on Killer Instinct is not a problem with Xbox One's smaller install base I don't see why it would be a problem for a PS4 game that should sell well.
@BigShotSmoov007:
Well I'm an Ultra platinum league and I use DS4 lol, DS4 is way better than DS3 for fighters.
You never see any fighting game tournament or champion using a controller, none. Evo everyone uses fight sticks and any other tournament that's seen players are using fight sticks. Only people you see using a controllers are guys that's eliminated in the 1st round. There's no debate that DS4 is way better than the DS3 but in regards to what I was saying, DS4 isn't better than the Elite on the PC or Xbox.

There are many people who prefer the DS4 over the elite, even PC gamers

And it is common knowledge that Sony controllers are better for fighting games. That's why many popular fight sticks have playstation button symbols on them.

If it's a fight stick for the Playstation then of course it's going to have Playstation button symbols, you think a fight stick for the Xbox will have that LOL. That has nothing to do with popularity and give proof that many people perfer DS4 over the Elite, where are you getting that info from?

Almost any respectable fighting gaming source out there agree. That's why you find articles such as this
https://bestgamings.com/best-arcade-stick-fight-stick-2016/
That say stuff like this
"As we mentioned earlier, comparing an arcade stick with a Xbox controller is straightforward. The arcade stick is victorious almost any time due to the design of Xbox controllers. Comparing a PS controller with an Arcade stick is rather more complicated."
The PS controller is at least worthy to compare with a fighting stick not so the xbone controller.
@BigShotSmoov007:
I just said up there Capcom cup champion Last night Nuckledu was using a DS4.
Sticks are not better than controllers it's a matter of what you grew up using, until recently Japan was dominating the fgc scene, and most of them grew up playing arcades which is why arcade sticks were their choice, but recently with all the new younger players who grew up with consoles appearing on the fgc scene lots of them are using controllers (lots of them use DS4).
Lots of the players using controllers were doing very well on Capcom pro tour, i think there was 5 or 6 guys out of 32 players at Capcom cup who were using DS4 or other controllers (heck one of the guys who made it top 16 was using Xbox 360 controller).
Ps. The number of sf5 players on ps4 is about 5 or 6 times the number of people playing it on pc.

Dude that isn't made by Sony, it's an arcade stick geared toward playing SF which is the most popular fighting game franchise and since it's exclusive to Playstation of course they would put Playstation symbols on it. People don't prefer Playstation fighting sticks over Xbox cause Sony doesn't make any so what are you talking about. That company can easily make that fighting stick for the Xbox if the game was out on the Xbox, Playstation has nothing to do with that.
Also, who was comparing a arcade stick to an Xbox controller? Nice try in trying to twist things around cause I said the DS4, I said nothing about an arcade stick to you. Show me where people prefer the DS4 over the Elite for fight gamers and stop trying to twist things around.

you sound so excited about it not being on the xbox.
After SF5 capcom would be crazy to limit themselves
You do realize that Capcom has not made any more Marvel games because they lost the license? Sony might be the only the reason they can make another Marvel game. Disney/Sony is a thing now.
Man, gotta love that Playstation exclusivity right....oh wait...
@EG101:
I wish MvC infinity would have a cross platform online, but sadly Sony won't allow it and i don't blame them.
Sony's reason for not allowing it is the same as MS reason for not doing it last gen, lots of people buy their consoles based on what console most of their friends use to play online and, and Sony is dominating now so they have no reason to let go of one of their advantages.
The sad part is games with small communities such FGC are the ones who suffer the most.

The article is about fighting sticks but towards the end of the article they compare how fighting sticks fair against controllers. Hence the quote. They say that with the xbox controller is not even worth comparing because the controller is simply not designed for fighting games but they do compare the playstation controller. Now also more fighting sticks are created for playstation than for xbox because fighting genre gamers are on Playstation, that alone is a testament on how the controller is generally considered better.
