Mass Effect 2 is the best game of this whole generation

Simply a phenomimal game and one that gives you real incentive for multiple playthroughs. Every aspect you want in a game it has.

It definately is a great game.

The story is fun, and there are no real slow-points to it. The gameplay is refined, and the levelling system is more simplistic in nature, yet I find it superior.

I love the Renegade/Paragon actions also.

Eh, I like it but there's plenty of other recent(ish) games that I would rather play, and Stalker: Call of Pripyat is releasing in a few days so I'll probably put Mass Effect 2 on hold until I finish that.

Its either Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2.

Those are my two favorite games this gen.

quality wise it may be, IDK Uncharted 2 was epic too

fun wise though for me that title still belongs to the one and only Borderlands.

Eh I really like the game but I have my problems with it. I mean While it took gigantic leaps forward from the first it also made weird changes that I just didn't understand. Like why do you need ammo now? Why no exp. when you kill characters, Idk it just doesn't really feel like an rpg at all anymore which was very disappointing. While fixing all that was bad about the original mass effect they changed alot of it that was good for seemingly no reason and Idk why they did.

Having played all major titles on the PC, PS3 and 360 these past 5 years I can say it's the best game of this generation though it's just my opinion. Uncharted 2 doesn't even compare to what mass effect 2 offers.

Best singleplayer this gen hands down imo.

Both games are extremely good imo. Two amazing games from Bioware so close to each other, Im one gamer that loves both those games alot more then I expected to.

He was trashing the game before it was released & doesn't look like he'll go away soon. I wonder sometimes what people like that are like in real life.

Anyway, I'm 20 hours in, having an absolute blast, taking my time to do everything, almost cried when I missed a side quest on Torchunga (Krogan Planet, don't think that's how it's spelt, but it's something like that) but I'll be playing again to make my "perfect" character for ME3. I'm going to playthrough at least 4 times, more then likely 6 or more for to cover each class, renage/paragon & everything. Single player wise it's unmatched this gen in my opinion. I thought ME2 would be good, & Reach would be my GotY but ME2 is definitely a contender, at least for single player GotY.
